56 Days cast and characters: Here's who's bringing the upcoming Prime Video thriller to life

The forthcoming Prime Video erotic thriller series, 56 Days, consists of a brilliant star cast ensemble. With a total of eight episodes, the show explores the plot of how a mysterious murder makes its way into the budding passionate relationship of Ciara and Oliver.

Its synopsis, as per IMDb, goes as follows:

After a chance supermarket encounter, Oliver and Ciara embark on an intense relationship. When a savagely murdered corpse surfaces 56 days later, the investigation delves into their turbulent love story, revealing grim secrets.

The story is established on Catherine Ryan Howard's 2021 novel carrying the homonym. The series is created by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher. It shall make its release on the streaming platform on February 18, 2026.

1) Karla Souza as Lee Reardon

The International Emmy Award-winning actor Karla Souza joins the cast. In this thriller series, she embodies the role of Lee Reardon, a detective who strives to reveal the truth behind the murder. Reardon's impulse and resolution as an investigator in this high-stakes murder case are skilfully portrayed by Souza.

Apart from this role, the Mexican actor has previously worked in Suave patria, How to Get Away with Murder, The Sleepover, Day Shift, Home Economics, and many more.

2) Dorian Missick as Karl Connolly

Joining Karla Souza's Lee Reardon, we have detective Karl Connolly, who is portrayed by Dorian Missick. The murder case gets even more complex for Connolly, as he is personally involved in the case.

Missick is well known for his work in Premium, Six Degrees, Lucky Number Slevin, The Cape, Zoe Ever After, Lucifer, Tell Me a Story, For Life, Shirley, etc.

3) Avan Jogia as Oliver Kennedy

And finally, the couple in question, we have Avan Jogia portraying the character of Oliver Kennedy. The embodiment of Oliver screams enigma and grim, whose intensity is bound to raise anticipation among the viewers.

And lastly, we have the deeply complex and alluring Ciara Wyse, portrayed by Dove Cameron. In the series, we get an insight into her past as well as her motives that create the mystery and drama in the plot. Ciara meets Oliver at a supermarket, and vehement sparks fly ever since.
