9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 17 will air on ABC on April 30. The network's beloved firefighter procedural airs weekly episodes every Thursday, along with its sister series 9-1-1: Nashville and Grey's Anatomy. The upcoming entry will mark the penultimate in the current season, with the Season finale set to air on May 7.

Seasoned 911 fans, brace yourselves as the firefighter procedural is taking yet another hiatus and will return with new episodes after a three-week break.

The latest episode of 9-1-1 saw the 118 come under scrutiny after a rescue mission gone wrong. After Chimney and the 118 failed to prevent a fire after repeated calls from a building, they were investigated by the review board.

9-1-1 Season 9 reunites the series main ensemble, namely Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Angela Bassett, Ryan Guzman, Anirudh Pisharody and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 17 release date and streaming details

The seventeenth episode of 9-1-1 Season 9 is titled 'I Got You Babe' and will air on ABC on April 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Although the network has not provided an official reason for the upcoming hiatus, it is likely due to Season 9 taking a shorter winter break and returning earlier in January, unlike previous seasons that resumed in March. Since the crew likely had less filming time, Season 9 of 9-1-1 is taking another break before airing the final two episodes.

If you miss the cable broadcast, you can always catch 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 17 a day later on Hulu, ABC's official streaming service. The platform's standalone plans can be accessed for $11.99 per month for the Basic ad-supported Plan and $17.99 per month for the Premium ad-free Plan. A Hulu subscription lets you access exclusive content like Paradise & Only Murders in the Building and all ABC originals, including The Rookie and Will Trent. While the show is on a hiatus, you can also watch the previous episodes of 9-1-1 on Hulu.

If you want to watch the upcoming episodes as they air on ABC, you can access them via live streaming services (that carry ABC) such as DirecTV, Hulu+ Live TV and FuboTV. Some of these services also offer a free 7-day trial and are a good alternative to catch live episodes of ABC originals.
