Adventure Time: Side Quests Season 2 just dropped its trailer, where the snippets of the adventures that Finn and Jake are set to have raise the intrigue from the get-go. After a successful first season where viewers were able to witness the hilarious journeys that Finn and Jake ventured on, the second season promises even more.

The trailer for Adventure Time: Side Quests Season 2 starts with Jake and Finn planning to zipline across all of Ooo. However, things take a hilarious turn when, instead of holding on to the zipline, Finn falls down. The trailer then continues to show snippets of some of the other adventures that Finn and Jake are going to take on.

According to reports, the official synopsis reveals that there will be “even more side quests” in the second season. Finn and Jake will be “wrestling toads, facing baby gladiators, and getting tangled up in one too many magic spells”. From “dangerous” quests to the ones that will be quite “strange”, their journey in Adventure Time: Side Quests Season 2 will be quite intriguing.

Just as the first season established, when Finn and Jake come together, “even the smallest of detours can lead to the biggest adventures," it will be the same for the second season. Viewers can tune in to the second season on Hulu and Disney+. All the episodes of the second season will be available on October 2. Hence, viewers will not have to wait weeks to get new episodes.

Though Adventure Time: Side Quests series is not indicated as an official prequel to Adventure Time, it brings life to similar characters of the franchise. The voice actor for Finn has also been recast in this series. The series expands the storyline of the characters, bringing forth further depth. The unique approach and lightheartedness of the episodes of the series become a significant factor in drawing viewers in.
