He starts to act tough, but Mrs. Hall notices the change. It's her granddaughter Rosie's birthday, and she wants to celebrate it with her family back in Suderland. Even though initially Siegfried acts tough, in the end he realises that it's better to share his true emotions with Mrs. Hall. But the realisation comes only by the end of the episode, and surprisingly, he learns it while treating Mrs. Stokes's goat Helga.Siegfried's patient for the day is Mrs. Stokes' goat Helga. She claims that Helga is limping, but when Siegfried tries to get hold of it, it sneaks out perfectly. In fact, Siegfried had to run through the middle of the street to catch Helga. After the initial examination, Siegfried feels Helga has no limping issues. However, in the end when Mrs. Stokes asks Siegfried to visit her farm, they hide and notice Helga limping. Turns out Helga has Shelly's hoof. Siegfried treats her. He tells Mrs. Stokes that goats sometimes hide their injury to keep themselves safe.It seems like Siegfried could relate to Helga. He tried to hide his emotions to avoid getting hurt. He doesn't keep any expectations, and at times, he might come across as rude as well. In reality, he fears losing Mrs. Hall. There are several instances in the episode where we do get hints. For example, during the celebratory dinner, when Richard asks Siegfried about how he feels about Mrs. Hall leaving, he becomes numb for a while. It seems like he cannot imagine living without her. When Mrs. Hall offers to cook some pies for him before leaving, he pretends that he's capable enough to take care of himself. He even denies Mrs. Hall's lunch and eats a can of sardines. When Tristan breaks a pot during makeshift croquet practice, Siegfried offers to clean up the mess and stops Mrs. Hall from doing it. Siegfried wanted to prove that he could take care of himself and the Skeldale House, but in reality, he fears losing Mrs. Hall. All Creatures Great and Small Season 6 is available to stream on PBS Masterpiece. Also Read: All Creatures Great and Small Season 6 Episode 4 cast and character: Here's who brought the PBS dramedy to lifeFollow SoapCentral for more such updates on All Creatures Great and Small Season 6.
