While Apple TV will make the show available for streaming for its global audience sometime in 2027, Dustfall will premiere in Germany and the UK under separate regional premiere rights before arriving on Apple TV in those areas. As Deadline reports, the show will be released a while later on BBC and ZDF and will be available on these networks for a year.

Dustfall joins Apple TV's slate of international shows that it has acquired for streaming. Other international shows Apple TV acquired are the British comedy Small Prophets, the French-Japanese drama Drops of God, and the Irish dark comedy-drama Bad Sisters.

Dustfall follows Detective Tig Pollard as she returns to her home town, North Gap, to investigate a sensitive case. The case is about the sexual assault of an 18-year-old girl who was found naked in a field with no memory of what happened or how she ended up there.

Investigation reveals that the girl was sexually assaulted after her drink was spiked. But when the main suspect is found murdered, the case becomes much harder to solve for Pollard. As she tries to get justice for the girl, Pollard is forced to confront secrets from her past.

Besides Anna Torv, the show also stars Juliet Stevenson, Zoe Phillips as Edie Kelly, Conrad Coleby as Ross Kelly, Bert La Bonté as Remi Jolicoeur, Kerith Atkinson as Caroline, Ed Wightman as Greg Filmore, Nathin Art Butler as Dean, and Kirsty O'Connor as Ronnie.

Other cast members include Ling Cooper Tang, Kate Box, Martin Sacks, Jay Ryan, Harry Gilchrist, Gemma Chua-Tran, Alice Ansara, Theo Haitana, Ben Knight, Luke J. Morgan, Lila McGuire, and Peter Fenton. What characters they are playing in the show is yet to be revealed.

The show is created by Dianne Taylor. Emma Freeman has directed and executive produced the show. Other executive producers of the show are Anna Torv, Deborah Balderstone, Xavier Marchand, and Daisy Gilbert. Balderstone, Marchand, and Gilbert have also produced the show. Soapbox Pictures and Moonriver are the production companies behind the show.

Dustfall will premiere on ABC TV in Australia on October 11, 2026. A while later, the show will premiere on Apple TV globally except for its viewers in Germany and the UK, who will get access to the show through ZDF and BBC for a year, respectively.
