The official trailer for Apple TV's latest whodunnit, Imperfect Women, starring Elisabeth Moss, Kate Mara, and Kerry Washington, was released earlier today. With the trailer release, the production house has drawn the curtain back a bit more on what fans can expect to see in the show, and it is nothing short of exciting.
The show delves deep into the friendship shared among the characters of Moss, Washington, and Mara. However, things take a dark and twisted turn after the sudden death of Kate Mara's Nancy, and shows how even the closest of friendships can sometimes be home to the most twisted secrets.

The first two episodes of the show are scheduled to release on March 18, with the subsequent episodes releasing one every week till April 29.
Imperfect Women is a classic whodunnit starring an excellent ensemble crew of actors
Imperfect Women features Elisabeth Moss, Kate Mara, and Kerry Washington in the leading roles, with several other actors elevating the cast of the show.
The official press release by Apple, released earlier today, describes the show as follows,
"Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, “Imperfect Women” examines a crime that shatters the lives of a decades-long friendship of three women. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that alter our lives irrevocably. As the investigation unfolds, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem."
As mentioned, the storyline for the show is based on the novel by Araminta Hall by the same name. The show has been created, showrun, and executive produced by Annie Weisman.
Aside from the three leading actresses, the show also features an excellent ensemble cast, including the likes of Ana Ortiz, Wilson Bethel, Keith Carradine, Rome Flynn, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Joel Kinnaman, Violette Linnz, Leslie Odom Jr., Sheryl Lee Ralph, Sherri Saum, Corey Stoll, Jill Wagner, and Audrey Zahn.
The trailer sets things in motion right at the beginning, with a voice speaking as Moss' Mary and Washington's Eleanor can be seen looking distraught on the screen. The voice says,
"What the three of you had, I don’t even know what to call it, but it wasn’t friendship."
The story then eventually moves on to much deeper and darker secrets thata re revealed as more and more details are divulged after the death of their friend, Kate Mara's Nancy.
The first two episodes of Imperfect Women will be released for streaming on March 18, and will be available to stream on Apple TV.
