Apple TV has greenlit Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Season 2. Created by David J. Rosen, the show premiered on Apple TV on May 20, 2026, and followed the story of a recently divorced fact checker, Paula (played by Tatiana Maslany).There were already enough hardships in Paula's life but then she fell into a mess of murder, lies, and secrets after witnessing a crime. Season 1 of the show introduced us to Paula, who was dealing with a bitter child custody battle with her ex-husband Karl (played by Jake Johnson) over their daughter Hazel. Out of loneliness, Paula confided in Trevor (played by Brandon Flynn), a webcam model. Paula soon began to receive blackmail calls and decided to launch her own investigation. The first season followed Paula's investigation and all the troubles that it led her into, including the Souter Group.At the end of the season, Paula received a video message that revealed that during her time in Portland, she had not accidentally run over her neighbor Caleb with her car but done so intentionally. A text message arrived on her phone next, saying:"We own you"Paula then received a call that revealed that she was now being blackmailed by Souter Group. The upcoming season will thus tell us how Paula gets out of this mess without her secret getting revealed.Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed Season 2 is being written now, and production will begin next year. As of now, a release date hasn't been confirmed. Based on the latest update, we can expect Season 2 to be released either at the end of 2027 or the beginning of 2028.
