As of now, Alex Cary's upcoming thriller remains untitled. The series is currently under pre-production. While not many details about the characters are revealed, it is reported that Daryl McCormack will play the role of Kar. He is expected to take over a big company, with the company's boss being Brandt, a character played by Stellan Skarsgård.

Along with Alex Cary, the other executive producers of the series include Julie Gardener, Brittany Kahan, Amy Kaufman, and Kari Skogland.

The synopsis of the series reads:

"Follows an undercover Treasury agent in a multibillion-dollar international conglomerate with world-changing political and criminal tentacles, who becomes conflicted between her mission and a belief that her principal target, the heir apparent to all that corrupt power, is at his core a good man and worthy of her love.

The announcement about the series was first made by Apple TV earlier this year, in January. Alongside the exciting executive producers, Dakota Fanning is also serving as an executive producer in the series, along with being in the cast.

As of now, the production house hasn't revealed any details on when the series will be released. Additionally, the complete cast and details about the characters are yet to be revealed.

Based on the previously released shows, Apple TV might take a year or two to wrap up the production of the series and release it. This leaves viewers with the speculated release date of 2027 or the following year. However, this is just a speculation, with the confirmed release yet to be released.

As of now, Daryl McCormack has not shared any statement about joining the new TV series or spoken publicly about his casting in the project. Before that, he will be appearing on Netflix's Pride and Prejudice, scheduled to release this year.

Speaking of his character, Mr. Bingley, in the project, he said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter:

"He is a gentleman, and there’s a kindness to him that I really respected. I wanted to make him intelligent with that and to see the good in everyone. It’s not always naive, but it’s a choice to choose faith and strength. That was how I wanted to see him and I wanted to make him. I didn’t want to make him naive, I didn’t want to make him just like, “I see the sun, the rainbow, everywhere I go."
