One thing that does appear as of now is that Season 3, if it happens, will feature new Titans. At the end of Season 2, Isabel and Kentaro used stolen Apex Cybernetics tech and neural implants to manipulate Titan X into fighting King Kong. Tim and May entered Isabel's control room but could not disable the implants. The fight ended when the team exposed Titan X to her stolen egg. That triggered her maternal instinct, which broke the mind-control override.Kong, who is an orphan himself, identified with Titan X and stood down. Cate used her unique ability to communicate with Titan X to guide her and her baby back through the rift to Axis Mundi. Due to the extreme time-slowing effects inside the radioactive rift world, the 1950s version of Lee Shaw appeared within the rift and exchanged a final, wordless farewell with Keiko in 2017.Six weeks later, a secret, off-the-books unit consisting of Cate, Keiko, Tim, and May was formed, and they set out to hunt down Isabel Simmons and Kentaro Randa. Lee Shaw tracked Kentaro and Isabel to Thailand, and the season ended with a cliffhanger as he discovered a live, non-dormant Rodan nesting atop a volcano; Rodan is expected to be the primary threat in Season 3.
