Apple TV has revealed its release schedule for its summer release schedule, which includes some beloved returning shows, new shows, and sports titles. Among the shows for a new season is Ted Lasso, which will bring back the titular character to Richmond.
New shows like Cape Fear are going to be released as well, giving viewers new stories to explore this summer. Here is the list of all the new and returning shows coming to Apple TV this summer.

Summer is for taking a break and enjoying shows that feel like a breath of fresh air. Apple TV's summer release schedule assures that this summer is going to be an entertaining one.
Ted Lasso Season 4
Ted Lasso is by far one of the most popular shows Apple TV has ever made. Season 3 of the show did end with Ted going back to Kansas to train his son Henry, but in Season 4, he will be coming back to Richmond to train the women's football team.
Ted Lasso Season 4 will premiere on Apple TV on August 5. Season 4 will have ten episodes, which will be released weekly on Wednesdays till October 7, 2026.

Silo Season 3
Silo Season 2 ended with Juliette and Mayor Holland getting trapped in the airlock chamber. While Juliette will survive, Season 3 will reveal if Mayor Holland did. Juliette will suffer severe memory loss, and we will see her struggle to piece together everything for a while.
The upcoming season will follow both the present timeline and the past, revealing more about who built the silos, why they were created, and what exactly happened in Washington D.C. prior to the bunker projects. Silo Season 3 will premiere on Apple TV on July 3, 2026. Season 3 will have ten episodes, which will be released weekly on Fridays till September 4, 2026.

Cape Fear
Cape Fear is a new show that premiered on Apple TV on June 5, 2026. It follows Tom Bowden and his wife, Anna Bowden, who had prosecuted and represented Max Cady, respectively, in a murder trial 17 years ago.
After Max gets released from prison after 17 years, he uses his new knowledge of the legal system to take revenge from the lawyers who were responsible for him going to prison. Cape Fear has 10 episodes, which will be released weekly on Fridays till July 31, 2026.

Dark Matter Season 2
Dark Matter Season 1 ended with the original Jason (Jason #01) reuniting with Daniela and Charlie. They unfortunately get cornered by other Jasons, and Jason #02, who is the antagonist of the show, has a redemption arc where he decides to help save his family.
The season ends with the family arriving at a new, unknown universe where they are now going to begin a new life. But the Dessens will be forced to flee again, and Jason's obsession with the box will become more intense. Dark Matter Season 2 will premiere on Apple TV on August 28, 2026. The season will have ten episodes, which will be released weekly on Fridays until October 30, 2026.

Formula 1
The 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship streams exclusively on Apple TV in the USA. The 2026 championship began on March 8, 2026, and all the Grands Prix that have taken place this season are available for streaming on the platform. The Grands Prix taking place this summer, which will also stream on Apple TV, are the following:

The remaining Grands Prix will take place after that from October to December, and the season will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 6 December 2026.

Sugar Season 2
Sugar Season 1 revealed that PI John Sugar is an alien observer. He successfully rescued Olivia, but his species decided to abruptly evacuate Earth. Sugar chose to stay behind alone after learning that his fellow alien, Henry, was complicit in committing atrocities and had clues about Sugar's missing sister, Djen.
In Season 2, we will see Sugar back in Los Angeles tackling a brand-new case involving a boxer's missing brother. Now operating without his alien network's resources or medical support, he must navigate a dangerous new conspiracy while tracking down Henry for answers about his sister.
Sugar Season 2 will premiere on Apple TV on Friday, June 19, 2026. The season will have eight episodes that will be released weekly on Fridays until August 7, 2026.

Trying Season 5
Trying Season 4 ended with Princess and Tyler's birth mother, Kat, unexpectedly arriving at Nikki and Jason's house. The season also ended with Scott suffering a severe car crash and Jason choosing to become a social worker.
Season 5 will focus on how Nikki can help rebuild Princess’s trust in her after she lied to her. Nikki will also have to deal with Scott's accident and Kat. Trying Season 5 will premiere on Apple TV on July 8, 2026. The season will have eight episodes, which will be released weekly on Wednesdays till August 26, 2026.
