Beauty in Black Season 2 resumes in the aftermath of Jules's son, Glen's terrible low, for which Kimmie and Alex have engineered a scheme to conceal it from everyone's sight. The patriarch of the Bellarie family, Horace, is in Italy, as he is receiving alternative treatment for his cancer recovery. Kimmie, however, makes space for herself as she exerts her influence in both family and business matters.

Horace's children, including Charles, Norman, Roy, and Olivia, strive to make hay while the sun shines. But Kimmie, who is astute and foresighted, is always ahead of the curve. Soon, we witness heightened frictions within the family, as there is a realignment of coalitions. Mallory, who otherwise used to actively resist Kimmie, ends up teaming with the family lawyer Varney in order to expose the family's misdeeds. As a result, Kimmie stands on her own two feet and walks tall with her chin up, becoming a defiant figure who challenges the status quo of the Bellarie family.

This is where Beauty in Black Season 2 reaches its tipping point, when Kimmie, who leverages her alliance with Horace, summons an urgent shareholder assembly. In this meeting, all of Horace's children lose rights to their father's wealth. It was possible because both Norman and Olivia are accused of swindling and fraudulent activities, whereas Charles is complicit in a trafficking case. In the case of Roy, it is because he is a cocaine addict. Also, to our great comfort, Sylvie, who is Kimmie's younger sister, has finally arrived home safe after being kidnapped.

At the end of Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2, we do see that Kimmie and Mallory, who were at loggerheads before, end up joining forces (although tentatively). It is heartwarming to witness Kimmie's rise to power in this lethal house of cards. However, the delicate treaty between the two women suggests that there are still pending disputes within the family that need to be resolved. We can only wait and watch to uncover what the future holds for them.
