Big Mood Season 2 is returning to Channel 4 soon, and the release date and a fresh look at the upcoming season have been revealed. The show follows best friends Maggie and Eddie, who have been best friends for a decade, but life, career, and mental health challenges test their friendship.Season 2 will pick up the show a year after the last events of Season 1, during which Maggie's bipolar disorder became too much for Eddie to handle, and she got frustrated. One cannot say she is doing all that great. The trailer opens with Maggie saying,"I'm in my stable girl era. I'm on medication that isn't trying to kill me. I'm a bridesmaid in a posh wedding."While she says all this, we see that she is barely holding onto her wits and is clearly struggling. Surprisingly, she runs into Eddie, who is also a bridesmaid at the same wedding Maggie is a bridesmaid at. As they wear strange milkmaid dresses as bridesmaid dresses, they are shocked to see one another. Eddie wants to talk to Maggie, but it won't be that easy to solve their issues. In the meantime, we learn that Eddie has a new friend called Whitney. When Maggie clarifies what she does, Whitney says,"I eradicate darkness."Eddie really values her new friend, and this makes Maggie extremely jealous, which she doesn't want to admit. But she does love her best friend, and from the looks of the trailer, it seems that she will do everything to protect her, even if it's from Whitney.
