Bloodhounds Season 2 Episode 1 recap: Geon-woo's boxing skills draw the attention of an unknown threat

Bloodhounds Season 2 has just premiered on Netflix and is already keeping viewers hooked with high-octane action sequences and a brotherly bond between the protagonists that once again steals the show.

In the premiere Episode of Bloodhounds Season 2, Geon-woo and Woo-jin are seen training for the championship match. But they are not the only ones anticipating the event. After the match, which Geon-woo wins, he catches an unwanted person's attention. It is Baek-jeong, the leader of an illegal boxing league operating out of the dark web.

Here's what happened in Episode 1 of Bloodhounds Season 2.

Bloodhounds Season 2 Episode 1 recap: Geon-woo fights Adik

After bringing justice and getting Myeong-gil arrested in Season 1, Geon-woo and Woo-jin lived a peaceful life for just three years until a new threat emerged in Bloodhounds Season 2. Episode 1 begins with Geon-woo and Woo-jin preparing for the upcoming match and also helping out Se-yeon in her cafe.

Before the match begins, Adik shows his aggressive side in front of Geon-woo and slaps him, but it doesn't affect the latter much. During the match, Adik wins the first round, but Geon-woo injures his eye in the second round, making it easier for him to win the match. While Woo-jin asks him to attack Adik's eye, Geon-woo decides on another way to win the match, but also not to hurt Adik anymore.

Geon-woo wins the match but also attracts the attention of Baek-jeong, who came to watch the match with his men by his side, and is impressed with the former's boxing skills.

Bloodhounds Season 2 Episode 1 recap: Baek-jeong tries to hire Geon-woo

In the premiere Episode of Bloodhounds Season 2, Geon-woo wins the match, but it still brings bad news for both Geon-woo and Adik. After Adik loses to Geon-woo, Baek-jeong asks him to fight him in the ring, which is live-streamed by Allen on the dark web.

Baek-jeong attacks his injured eye and wins the match. After Allen shuts off the live stream, Baek-jeong beats him more to make him unconscious. Later, Sergeant Yun Taek-beom stops Lee from harvesting Adik's organs by killing him.

Meanwhile, Min-beom visits Geon-woo's home to celebrate his win and also reveals his plan of opening a children's hospital in honor of Mr. Choi. Later, the IKFC leader tells his men that he wants Geon-woo to fight in their league and wants to meet him.

They visit Geon-woo's house and offer him a lot of money, but he refuses to join and kicks them out of his house. Baek-jeong does not give up and asks Lee to kidnap Geon-woo's mother. Even after they install a new security system in the house, Allen hacks it, and Baek-jeong's men enter Geon-woo's house to kidnap Se-yeon.

However, their plans fail as Geon-woo and Woo-jin come to protect their mother and fight the men. Geon-woo follows the men as they try to escape, but fails to get a hold of them as Sergeant Yun sets the car ablaze, making sure no evidence is left.
