In the previous episode of Bloodhounds Season 2, Geon-woo reaches the last minute and saves Woo-jin and Kwang-moo from Lee's fighters. After their surgeries in episode 3, he even apologizes to Woo-jin for putting his life in danger. Wo-jin reminds him that they are family and will fight against Baek-jeong together.

Later, Geon-woo takes Kwang-moo to meet police chief Gang-yong and Min-beom. While Gang-yong does not agree with Kwang-moo's methods, he assures Geon-woo to help find the culprits. He is then informed that In-beom escaped from prison, hinting at Baek-joeng's bigger plans. Tae-yeoung reveals that there used to be a gang operating on the dark web who would break out prisoners for huge payments, and might also be involved in getting In-beom out.

On the other hand, In-beom, one of Myoeng-gil's men from Season 1, suggests attacking Min-beom to get him out of hiding.

Bloodhounds Season 2 Episodes 3-4 recap: Detective Choi's death and Sergeant Yoon's identity revelation

In episodes 3 and 4 of Bloodhounds Season 2, Baek-jeong's men keep threatening the lives of people who try to help Geon-woo. Such as paying a cop to get Detective Choi's location and stabbing him in broad daylight before he gets to meet Gang-yong.

Later, after Kwang-moo's request, Gang-yong agrees to let him find the men who attacked them in the alley in episode 2. Woo-jin and Kwang-moo find one of the fighters and torture him into giving information about who hired them. While he did not know the name, he shared a picture of a luxury watch that one of them wore.

Detective Woo-jeong's investigation revealed that the watch belonged to Sergeant Yoon, who attacked Woo-jin with a knife. He was a former 17th Special Forces sergeant who specialized in explosives and was discharged. While he is officially said to be in Thailand, Woo-jeong reveals he might be using a forged identity to be in Korea.

With this information, Gang-yong and Woo-jin then go to meet Sergeant Yoon's mother, who reveals that he was discharged due to money issues. They needed a lot of money for his wife's cancer treatment, but the job did not pay enough, and he had to resort to other illegal ways.

Bloodhounds Season 2 Episodes 3-4 recap: Min-beom and Gang-yong's lives are in danger

Another important incident from episode 3 of Bloodhounds Season 2 was Min-beom being drugged. After In-beom's suggestion, Lee Man-bae sends Gi-na to drug him with a special drug that would paralyze his body. This puts Min-beom's life in danger, but he still decides to work off the drug without taking any sedatives.

Furthermore, Geon-woo and Kwang-moo begin their search for Gi-na and learn that she is a casino handler and also distributes drugs for Lee. Later, with Woo-jin and Gang-yong, they attack the building where Gi-na is working and capture her. By hacking her cell phone, they find out Baek-jeong's current location.

Gang-yong, accompanied by Geon-woo, goes to arrest Baek-jeong, but the receptionist informs him that the police were coming to their hotel. Bae-jeong and Allen escape but put Gang-yong's life in danger as one of Sergeant Yoon's explosives was placed in the penthouse apartment, which goes off and injures several police officers, including Gang-yong. Baek-jeong then calls Geon-woo and tells him that all of these people getting hurt was because of him, and once again forces him to fight in the IKFC.
