Boston Blue Season 2 Episode 5 recap: Jamie Reagan visits Boston

Will Estes reprised his role as Danny's younger brother, Jamie Reagan, in Boston Blue Season 2 Episode 5. Jamie was in the city to attend a lieutenant's conference. According to Soaps.com, Danny and Jamie's interactions initially seemed complex. They weren't on the best terms, as they had cold replies to each other.

However, when Danny demanded to know what was wrong with Jamie's behavior, he replied that Danny abruptly left. Danny remembered that Erin told him that his family was upset with him for leaving New York City, specifically Jamie. However, before they could mend their differences, they were plunged into a case involving brothers who stole diamonds and were out to seek revenge against people who killed their sister. Jamie and Danny began to investigate the case; however, they had trouble working together initially.

Elsewhere, one of the criminal brothers was trying to stop the other from going violent with the revenge quest. Jamie tried to ask him where the other brother was getting the weapons. Jamie tried to emotionally manipulate him by mentioning that he and Danny lost a brother, Joe. Jamie's methods worked, and he got the necessary information. Soon, Danny and Jamie found out that a rocket launcher was missing from the weapons' location.

Jamie and Danny tried to stop the other brother from launching the rocket. However, the brother did not pay attention to Danny's request and launched the rocket, but Jamie was able to knock the rocket out. Thankfully, no one was injured.

After they wrapped up the case, Jamie confessed to Danny that he always imagined his son, Joey Francis, would grow up with his uncle Danny. Jamie also pointed out that Danny spoke to everyone about his move except for Jamie. Danny explained that Sean needed him at that time. Danny said that he was proud of Jamie.

The episode ended with a Silver family Shabbat dinner where Jamie told Danny that he understood why he and Sean like to stay in Boston.
