1. Edmund Bridgerton
Edmund was the patriarch and Viscount. He had eight children. A bee sting caused an extreme allergic reaction, which led to his death. His death meant that all the familial and social responsibilities would fall upon Anthony.

Violet is the heart of the household and the matriarch of the Bridgerton family. After her husband's death, she completely devotes herself to her children. She ensures he is happily married. She believes deeply in love matches and supports her children, even when they resist society’s rules.
The Bridgerton siblings
1. Anthony
Anthony finds love in Kate Sharma, whom he marries, and together they prepare to start a family. Anthony is the current Viscount after his father's untimely death.
2. Benedict
He is the second son of the family. Season 4 explores his love interest. Fans love him for his free-spirited nature.
He does not fully adhere to rigid social ideas and wants only what's authentic. His love story begins at a masquerade ball where he stumbles upon Sophie Baek.
3. Colin
Colin is the third child among the siblings. Colin is warm, curious, and once restless. He chooses Penelope Featherington as his life partner. The family's Featherington title is then transferred to their son, linking the Bridgerton family and the Featherington family together.
4. Daphne
The eldest daughter and the lead of Season 1. Daphne marries Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings. They have a son named August. Daphne later steps away from London society.
5. Eloise
Eloise got a rebellious reputation through the seasons and is the fifth child of the family. Eloise rebels against the marriage and social expectations that bring rules and rigid structures. She values independence, books, and deep friendships, especially with Penelope.
6. Francesca
Francesca is a quiet and introverted child. She is the sixth of the siblings. Eventually, she marries John Stirling, the Earl of Kilmartin, and shifts thereby to Scotland.
7. Gregory
The seventh child of the Brigerton household is Gregory. Due to his young age, he is still seen learning from his older brothers. Due to his age, his story is yet to be told.
8. Hyacinth
The youngest Bridgerton sibling. She was born after her father’s death, so the former Viscount was not able to see her. She is defined in the show as an energetic character.
The Featheringtons
1. Portia Featherington
Portia is the determined matriarch of the Featherington side. Portia puts a lot of effort to ensure her daughters are protected and reach a secure status in life.
2. Archibald Featherington
He is the former patriarch of the side. He has a bad track record for engaging in extreme gambling habits. His habits lead to his downfall and death at the end of the debut season.
3. Prudence Featherington
The eldest daughter. She marries Harry Dankworth and has a daughter.
4. Philippa Featherington
The second daughter. She marries Albion Finch and lives a comfortable but simple life.
5. Penelope Featherington
Penelope is the youngest daughter of the family in the series. She is one of the most important female characters in the show. Penelope secretly wrote as Lady Whistledown before marrying Colin Bridgerton upon which she became the mother of the new Lord Featherington.
6. Elliot Featherington
The infant son of Colin and Penelope. Through inheritance laws, he becomes the head of the Featherington family.
The Danburys
1. Agatha Danbury
She guides the queen is a respected widow.
2. Lord Danbury
Agatha’s late husband. His death leaves her in control of her own life and title.
3. Marcus Anderson
Marcus is the brother of Lady Danbury. He later connects with his sister, later in life, which gives him a place in London Society.
The Royal Family
1. Queen Charlotte
She is the Queen of England and holds immense social power as the ruler of the society. She decides who is fashionable and who is not. The spin-off brings her marriage to light in more detail.
2. King George
The King of England and Queen Charlotte’s husband. By the time of Bridgerton, he had withdrawn from public life.
3. Prince Regent George
Their eldest son. His position gives the era its name: the Regency period.
