Can You Keep a Secret? Starring Dawn French and Mark Heap is finally coming to Paramount+ in February. The British comedy series dropped in the UK on January 7, 2026, on BBC iPlayer and BBC One. All six episodes of Can You Keep a Secret? will drop simultaneously on Thursday, February 12, 2026, on Paramount +.
Created and written by Simon Mayhew-Archer (This Country), this series is loosely inspired by his family's experience. It is directed by the duo Lauriel Martin and Simon Hynd. Most of the filming took place in the West Country.
The series follows an old couple, Debbie and William Fendon, who play along with a fake death scenario to grab the insurance money. When William is wrongfully declared dead, Debbie schemes a plan. She hides her husband (who has Parkinson's disease) in the loft. Their son, Harry, unwillingly gets entangled in his parents' scam too. But can they hide it from Harry's wife, Neha, who also happens to be a local police officer? Turns out, the Fendons are being blackmailed too. It's complete chaos! No matter what happens, the series promises to deliver laughs, emotional moments, and a warm family story.
