Chad Powers Season 2 might have come to a close with Gerry looking like the biggest threat to Russ Holliday and his Chad Powers secret. But by the end of the season, the show confirms that Gerry isn't actually Russ' biggest problem, as that honor goes to Tricia Yeager.

In Season 2, it almost felt like Gerry was going to expose Russ and his secret identity. However, his plan fails in the end, but Chad Powers' relief doesn't last long, as after the game, the security guard tells him that Tricia says congratulations while calling him Mr. Holliday. This just confirms that Tricia already knows who he is but decides to go along instead of revealing it.

How Chad Powers Season 2 proved Tricia is a bigger threat than Gerry?

Chad Powers Season 2 was released on September 3 with all six episodes, now streaming on Hulu. Season 2 follows Russ Holliday, played by Glen Powell, trying his best to keep his secret to himself, which is his real identity. However, his efforts don't pay off, as Gerry learns his identity and decides to use it against him, forcing Russ to mess up during the Texas game.

But that doesn't work. While he tries to blackmail Russ and pushes him to play badly so that he can ruin his reputation and make money from the bet, Ricky has another plan in mind. She helps Russ find a way, and in the end, South Georgia wins.

On the other hand, Tricia doesn't try to hurt him. Instead, after learning about his identity from Danny, she shows that she has bigger plans for him, which only makes her more interesting than Gerry.

In the last five minutes of Chad Powers' finale episode, titled 12th Quarter, a security guard tells him that Tricia says congratulations and that Chad Powers has just been acquired by Yeager Family Farms. But then comes the interesting line when he intentionally says, "Mr. Holliday, your face," leaving both Ricky and Russ confused and worried.

Turns out Tricia is the one who leaves the Chad Powers Season 2 finale with the biggest question mark, making her a new problem for Russ going forward.

Chad Powers Season 2 has left fans with plenty of questions.

1) What does Tricia want from Russ?

It's clear that Tricia knows that Chad Powers is none other than Russ Holliday, as addressed in the finale. While Gerry wanted to expose him, Tricia doesn't seem to have any interest in exposing him, which just makes it more intriguing.

If Chad Powers returns for season 3, it will most probably expose Tricia's true intentions and how she wants to use Russ for her benefit.

2) What happens to Russ and Ricky?

Season 2 shows Ricky getting a new coaching job at Syracuse, which also means she has to leave the place, and this was her final match with Russ. The two have been through a lot, and it will be interesting to see if they are able to make it work or decide to go their separate ways.

3) Can Russ still walk away from Chad Powers?

While the identity was first created to give Russ a second chance, Season 2 clearly showed that people are now after him. While some want to expose him, others might want to use him and his new identity.

This also leads to one question: is Russ still in control of his own identity, and can he walk away from Chad Powers whenever he wants, or has it become something he can no longer easily leave behind?

As of now, Hulu has not renewed Chad Powers for another season, leaving its future uncertain.
