Chicago Fire Season 15 complete cast guide: Who’s returning with Taylor Kinney and who isn’t

Chicago Fire Season 15 is set to premiere on October 7, 2026, with Victor Teran serving as the showrunner and executive producer. Dick Wolf is on board as the executive producer, while Derek Hass and Matt Olmstead are the producers. The series follows the professional and personal lives of the firefighters, paramedics, and first responders of Firehouse 51.

Among the returning cast members are Christian Stolte, Hanako Greensmith, Jocelyn Hudon, Miranda Rae Mayo, Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, and Brandon Larracuente, to name a few. Chicago Fire Season 15 will continue with major character arcs, including Severide and Kidd's family, Joe Cruz's fatherhood journey, and Kelly Severide's professional challenges.

Among the fresh faces who will be joining is Da'Vinchi, who is set to play Marcus Burke, a firefighter. According to Deadline, newcomer Matthew Daddario is also set to be a part of Chicago Fire. Apart from that, Dermot Mulroney will also reprise his role as Chief Dom Pascal. However, according to People, Mulroney and Joe Minoso are set to leave Season 15 after a few episodes.

Season 14 ended on a cliffhanger. As former Chief Pascal returns to discuss about Severide's next professional choice, an emergency call interrupts their discussion. A storage facility catches fire, and as the viewers hear a loud boom, the screen turns black.

Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide

Kinney will reprise his role as Kelly Severide in Chicago Fire Season 15. In the previous season, he was on track to become the next commanding officer of Firehouse 51. In the finale of Season 14, he was given an option to either be the Commanding Chief of Firehouse 51 or be the Chief of Fire Investigation. However, before he could announce his decision, he was interrupted by an emergency call.

Kinney is known for his roles in Shameless, Trauma, and The Vampire Diaries.

Miranda Rae Mayo as Stella Kidd

Mayo (Days of Our Lives and True Detective ) will reprise her role as Stella Kidd in Chicago Fire Season 15. A firefighter sergeant at Firehouse 51, Stella has welcomed a foster son with her husband, Severide. It would be interesting to see their family dynamics in the upcoming season.

Hanako Greensmith as Violet Mikami: Greensmith, known for her roles in Bull, FBI, and Chicago P.D., will be back as Violet Mikami in Season 15. Violet is the paramedic in charge at Firehouse 51.

Joe Miñoso, who plays Joe Cruz in Chicago Fire, will reprise his role in the upcoming season. According to People, Miñoso will be exiting Chicago Fire during Season 15. He will appear in a few episodes to wrap up his character's storyline.

Dermot Mulroney, who plays Chief Dom Pascal in Chicago Fire, is also set to leave the series during Season 15. According to People, the actor has confirmed his exit during the Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention on August 2, 2026.

Among the newcomers of Chicago Fire Season 15 are Da'Vinchi and Matthew Daddario. Da'Vinchi is known for his roles in The Boys and Lethal Weapon. He will play a new firefighter called Marcus Burke. Daddario is known for his roles in Shadowhunters, Blue Bloods, and Why Women Kill.
