NBC's Chicago Med Season 11 brings new challenges for the medics of Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre every week. Apart from the main cast, each week we get to see some fresh faces, and that's what makes the show even more thrilling.
In Episode 11, Dr. Charles reunites with his med school friends Suzzie (Brenda Strong) and Howie (Mark Linn-Baker). Apart from that, Dr. Kingston and Dr. Hannah Asher clash over a patient, Lyra Moreno (Elizabeth Ramos).
We also catch a glimpse of a recurring character, Sully's widow, Lynee (Hope Lauren). Ripley takes a day off from work and spends some quiet time with Lynee on Sully's first death anniversary. They throw his ashes in the stadium, and even though the authorities catch them doing so, they do not take any action.

Oliver Platt as Dr. Charles Daniels
Oliver Platt plays Dr. Daniel Charles, the Chief of Psychiatry in Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 11. In this episode, he reunites with his med school friends, Howie and Suzzie. Suzzie has come for her treatment at Gaffney. Soon, the doctors find out that she has knots in the brain. She's left with two options: a risky surgery or a non-surgical way that gives her two to five years to survive.
Turns out, Suzzie was Charles's former lover, and Howie was his roommate in med school. Even though they do not share any bad blood amongst each other, Howie doesn't prefer Charles advising him on his married life. Charles supports Suzie's decision to get the surgery. Meanwhile, Howie seems hesitant. Before going for the surgery, Suzie asks Charles to take care of Howie if she does not make it. Unfortunately, Suzzie does not survive the operation, and Charles has to break the tragic news to Howie.
Brenda Strong guest stars as Dr. Suzie Mankiewicz
Brenda Strong guest stars as Dr. Suzie Mankiewicz in Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 11. She is Dr. Charles' ex, and they met at med school. Turns out her husband, Howie, was Charles's ex. She went to Gaffney and was diagnosed with brain damage. When she was given an option, she chose to have the risky surgery because she didn't want to live her last days in sickness. However, she didn't make it.
Strong is well known for her roles in Desperate Housewives, SuperGirls, and 13 Reasons Why.
Mark Linn-Baker guest stars as Dr. Howie Mankiewicz
Mark Linn-Baker guest stars as Howie Mankiewicz in Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 11. Howie is Suzie's husband and Dr. Charles's roommate from med school. He loves Suzzie with all his heart and was willing to take an early retirement just to please her. When she fell critically ill, Howie chose a safer option for her, but when Suzzie wasn't willing, he dropped his idea.
Linn-Baker is known for his roles in Ghosts, Blue Bloods, Succession, and Perfect Stranger.
Elizabeth Ramos guest stars as Lyra Moreno
Elizabeth Ramos guest stars as Lyra Moreno in Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 11. She plays Dr. Asher's current patient. However, since she was a cancer patient years back, she knew of Dr. Kingston. In fact, Dr. Kingston helped her get her embryos frozen even when it had complications. Lyra requested Dr. Kingston during her surgery. The surgery was a success. However, Dr. Kingston was asked to leave the observation room when things heated up between the doctors. Later, Dr. Asher and Dr. Kingston mend their differences.
Luke Mitchell as Dr. Mitch Ripley
Dr. Mitch Ripley takes a day off from his duties for his close friend Sully's first death anniversary. He spends some time with Sully's widow, Lynne, and they decide to throw his ashes in the stadium. Meanwhile, things get a bit awkward between Ripley and Lenox, especially after their hook-up. They later decided to keep seeing each other. It looks like they are gradually falling for each other although it's too early to predict so!
