NBC's Chicago Med Season 11 is back with a fresh episode this week. Episode 11, or 'Our So Called Lives', follows the chaotic lives of the medics of the Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre.Episode 11 of Chicago Med Season 11 deals with Dr. Charles reuniting with his friends from med school. Hannah finds herself in a tough spot while treating a patient. In last week's episode, we saw at least three new bonds forming: Dr. Frost and paramedic Lizzy Novak; Dr. Kingston and Dr. Archer; and Dr. Lenox and Dr. Ripley.Turns out, even though Lennox and Ripley decided that it was only a one-time thing, they kept crawling back to each other. Will this be just a rebound relationship or a real one? remains a mystery as of now. In this episode, Ripley wasn't in a good mood; it was the first death anniversary of his best friend, Sully. So he decides to do something special. She accompanies Sully's widow to a bar and discusses how to spread his ashes. Dr. Charles' ex, Suzzie Mankiewicz, and her husband, Howie, visit the hospital to get Suzie checked. She wasn't feeling well for the past few days. Howie was Dr. Charles's med school roommate, and Suzzie was his girlfriend at the time. However, there was no bad blood between them; they were friends now. Howie didn't want to retire, but Suzie insisted. Upon Suzie's request, Howie had to make a tough decision to please her. He wasn't ready to take any advice from Charles about saving his marriage. In the end, he chose to respect Suzie's wishes. But this wasn't all, Suzie was critically ill. She had blood vessels clustered together in a knot.There were two options. The first one was surgery, but it was risky. The second option was a non-operative one that would give her two-five years to live. Howie thought the second option was the best suited. However, both Suzie and Dr. Charles thought surgery was best. Suzie did not want to live an uncertain life with health complications. She wanted to enjoy her retirement days with Howie. Howie thought the surgery put her at risk, and he brought friends from the med school days to make her understand. However, Dr. Charles agreed with Suzie's choices. He didn't want Suzie to suffer like Cece.We also learnt about Charles and Suzie's relationship. Charles struggled with intimacy both emotionally and physically. When Suzie broke off with him, Howie took the opportunity. He was already smitten by her. Later, when Howie told Charles that they were engaged, he jumped up and hit a ceiling fan. He didn't even want to go to the ED because he didn't want to make it about him.Before the surgery, Suzie asked Charles to take care of Howie in case she didn't make it. Turns out, Suzie collapsed mid-surgery. Dr. Archer told him to give up bull riding since his back couldn't handle another fall. The guy wasn't willing to get the surgery done. He told him he was only good at bull riding and could not give it up. Archer tried to make him understand that he was hurting himself in the process.Meanwhile, Dr. Asher and Dr. Kingston clashed over a patient, Lyra. Even though she was actually Dr. Asher's patient, years back, she had cancer, and Dr. Kingston treated her. Dr. Kingston agreed to freeze her embryos, knowing well that it might increase the risk of cancer treatment. Dr. Kingston and Lyra shared a bond of mutual trust. Thus, when Lyra was about to have another risky surgery, she wanted Dr. Kingston to be there.Dr. Kingston was in the observation room, but things turned chaotic. She was kicked out of the room. She knew she crossed the line, so she apologized. Later, Asher, Kingston, and Archer went to grab some drinks.Are Ripley and Lenox falling in love?After trying to avoid each other for a while, Lenox and Ripley ran into each other in the bar. They eventually came to a decision. They would not stop what they were doing and let their emotions take over. It looks like the two are falling in love with each other. But it's too early to guess.Ripley and Lizz then poured Sully's ashes at the Club's Stadium. However, they were caught by the authorities. Thankfully, they didn't fall into trouble.
