The results show that he has a clot, and they had to perform mechanical thrombectomy to save him. Archer and Abrams team up for the complex surgery. In the end, the operation is a success, and Charles regains consciousness after two days. When Charles was fighting for his life, he had some hallucinations that tapped into the past traumas of his life.
