City of Blood is a new dystopian miniseries coming to Hulu this September. The show will follow a dystopian Berlin where the privileged live in a temperature-controlled dome, but the unfortunate have to live in terrible climate conditions outside.However, as the City of Blood trailer reveals, Berlin is not only suffering due to bad climate and power-hungry humans but also vampires who want to take over the city. Two sisters, Beau and Pheobe, who have just found their way back to each other, must fight against all these forces to save not only themselves but everyone they care about.City of Blood trailer gives us a look at what happens when power falls in the wrong handsThe City of Blood trailer opens with someone transporting cargo, and upon law enforcement asking him to show the cargo, the man says he can't. As the law enforcement officer looks at the vehicle properly, he sees blood dripping from it and then blood splatter inside a chamber that was being transported as cargo. That blood is not just bodily fluid but a kind of currency in the show's dystopian Berlin.We soon learn that while temperatures have been rising to 41°C in Berlin, the elite have been living in a dome that is temperature-controlled. Berlin is thus wraught with poverty, violence, and disorder. Among all this, Phoebe has been working for a blood bank. But this blood bank might be one used by vampires for something bigger.We also see Phoebe reunited with her long-lost sister, Beau, who has been living with her adopted mother and has a chronic illness. The two sisters discover that vampires are the ones who control organized crime in such trying times and want political power.The City of Blood trailer also reveals how many people have gone missing in the last six months, and their disappearance has something to do with these vampires. Moreover, the people still living in the harsh weather conditions aren't the only ones who will suffer under the vampires. Soon, even the dome won't be able to keep the elite safe from them.With an important election right around the corner and violence and corruption so rampant, Phoebe and Beau must find a way to save their lives and those of their loved ones.
