Apple TV has recently revealed the first-look images of Criminal Record Season 2 and also revealed the release date for the upcoming season. The new season will follow June and Daniel working together once again as they try to find out who killed a young man in public, in broad daylight. But their investigation will soon lead to something far more dangerous.

Criminal Record first premiered on Apple TV on January 10, 2024, and was renewed for Season 2 in August of the same year. Apple TV has now revealed that Criminal Record Season 2 will premiere on the platform on April 22, 2026, with the first episode and the remaining seven episodes released weekly on Wednesdays till June 10, 2026. You'll need an Apple TV subscription to watch the upcoming season. If you aren't subscribed to the platform, you can buy the subscription for $12.99 per month. The subscription will also give you access to Season 1 of the show and every other Apple TV film and series.
Five first look images have been released by Apple TV, which gives us a look at both Capaldi and Jumbo as Daniel and June. We also get to see two of the new characters played by Dustin Demri-Burns and Luther Ford, who will be introduced in Season 2. We're yet to know the names or descriptions of these characters, but it looks like Ford might be playing an antagonist, and Demri-Burns is playing someone who is of public interest.

The returning cast of Criminal Record Season 2 includes Peter Capaldi as DCI Daniel Hegarty, Cush Jumbo as DS June Lenker, Zoë Wanamaker as Maureen Lenker, Charlie Creed-Miles as DS Tony Gilfoyle, Cathy Tyson as Doris Mathis, Stephen Campbell Moore as Leo Hanratty, and Shaun Dooley as DS Kim Cardwell. New cast members joining the show for Season 2 are Dustin Demri-Burns, Luca Pasqualino, Luther Ford, Lyndsey Marshall, and Peter Sullivan in roles yet to be revealed.
