The official teaser for Michael Lennox's Crystal Lake was just released on Peacock with its premiere on October 15. The prequel series tells the story of a doomed small town where camp counselors come to die. The plot shows a character named Pam Voorhees, a single mother who still struggles with grief after her weak and sickly young son, Jason, drowned in the town lake one year ago.
As the story progresses, two strangers come to her home and begin asking questions about Pam's past life. Their arrival leads to a chain of incidents related to the lake. The people in town are left with one pressing question: who exactly is Pam Voorhees?
