Episodes 2 and 3 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 pick up from the fallout of the first episode. Matt is clearly shaken; Wilson Fisk's control is getting out of hand, and the city is getting worse by the minute.
Additionally, people are getting picked up right from the streets, the system is nowhere close to being perfect, and even Daredevil feels off in his game.
But here’s the thing. Both of these episodes are filled with Easter eggs. So, rest assured, there is a lot you can unpack from Episodes 2 and 3 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episodes 2 and 3 recap: Matt loses most of his control while Fisk tightens his grip even more
Episodes 2 and 3 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 are very grounded. Cherry outlives the attack, but is she safe yet? Well, no. Fisk sends people to finish the job, which shows just how far he is willing to go to clean up all of the loose ends.
This time, though, a few cops and Detective Angie Kim also come into play, which feels very rare in a city that has been slowly turning against vigilantes.

Matt, on the other hand, is not in a good place. He’s very distracted, and it is also obvious that he is dealing with a lot of guilt. Foggy’s death also still haunts him, and what really messes with his head is the fact that Bullseye saved him.
Bullseye is working alone and is not making any public moves yet, but he is targeting Wilson Fisk’s task force. At the same time, he’s also trying to find some kind of redemption.
Meanwhile, in Episodes 2 and 3 of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Matt and Karen try to expose Fisk at Red Hook. But Fisk is always two steps ahead, isn't he? He's smart, and so, he plants fake evidence, is in full control of the narrative, and even publicly praises Matt.
Things get even worse when innocent civilians start to get arrested. That’s when Matt upshifts his game, and instead of playing games, he's all out to take action.
In the rescue mission, Daredevil teams up with Swordsman, Karen, and Angela. They do manage to free people, but Fisk wipes out all evidence by destroying the ship, even sacrificing his own men.
By the end, it still feels like Fisk is still in charge, and Matt is running out of options and time.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episodes 2 and 3- 5 notable Easter eggs that you probably missed
1) White Tiger’s amulet
One of the biggest Easter eggs you can find in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 comes from something that barely gets any screen time.

Angela del Toro finds her uncle’s amulet while looking for help. This is the same piece that gave Hector Ayala his abilities as White Tiger. Another interesting fact is that the amulet has been kept at the law office ever since Hector died.
Angela choosing to take it is why this Easter egg is so important, because once you get to understand what is happening, the start of a new White Tiger has entered the story.
2) The baseball aka Bullseye’s past
There’s a small scene that feels very random at first (because why would you pay attention to a baseball?), but hey, trust me, it is not.

Vanessa sees Bullseye in a dream, and the baseball falling toward her is a direct reference to his childhood and his past as a kid who believed perfection would bring his parents back. However, when things didn’t go his way, he killed his coach.
This scene also connects to his current state. Bullseye still needs structure, and now, he’s caught between seeking redemption and falling back into violence.
3) White Tiger
By the end of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 3, Angela turns up during the rescue mission. She’s helping, but more importantly, she is wearing a makeshift version of the White Tiger look and is also using the amulet.

Her motivation comes from her aunt being taken. She also knows what that means. That urgency pushes her into action faster than expected.
This scene also connects directly to the comics, where Angela takes on the White Tiger mantle.
4) Muse’s mask...or lady Muse?
Heather Glenn still has Muse’s mask in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is perhaps the biggest Easter egg I could find.

After surviving a near-death experience with Muse, she hasn’t moved on from the trauma, and keeping the mask shows that the trauma is very much still there.
There is also a strong possibility that this might be setting up a bigger change for her character as Lady Muse. Also, the idea of someone taking on the identity of Muse isn’t new in the comics.
5) Sister Maggie and the Clinton church
The return to Clinton Church is one of the most meaningful callbacks in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

Bullseye visits the church and asks about Sister Maggie. Instead of bringing her back into the story (from the Netflix version of Daredevil), the Disney+ adaptation reveals that she’s in Rome.
First, this Easter egg connects the story to Matt’s past. This is the same place where he grew up after his father died.
The absence of Sister Maggie also leaves the door open, because she’s not gone for good; she’s just not here right now.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 uses Episodes 2 and 3 in a very clever way to plant seeds with so many Easter eggs all at once!
The White Tiger's amulet and Angela, Bullseye’s past, Matt’s past, and Muse's mask with Heather are all hints that these Easter eggs are worth checking out.
