Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 returned to our laptop screen tonight with two episodes titled "Shoot the Moon" and "The Scales & the Sword". The first episode ended on a cliffhanger as the fate of Matt's PI, Clark Pitts/Cherry, falls unconscious after a heart attack. Fisk sends two AVTF officers to the hospital, but Cherry is already surrounded by his friends, like Angie Kim. They are told to leave, which they do. In the elevator, the two officers are killed by Bullseye. Meanwhile, Powell enters Cherry's hospital room to find it empty.Meanwhile, the second episode also saw characters like Ariana (the woman who runs a restaurant and offers a secret passage out of New York) arrested by the AVTF. More importantly, the second episode also sees the return of Soledad Ayala (Hector Ayala's wife) and her niece, Angela del Toro. They are shopping as the AVTF arrests Soledad.Therefore, Angela visits Matt Murdock's office, where she comes across his business partner, Kirsten McDuffie. There, Angela finds the box containing Hector's superhero costume and the amulet. She finally takes up her uncle's amulet and becomes the new White Tiger. Meanwhile, Fisk ensures that Matt can't appear in public as he puts out a missing person warrant for Murdock and declares the lawyer a hero for taking a bullet meant for him.The second episode ends with the AVTF raiding Josie's Bar, with the officers almost arresting her. Daredevil intervenes as Karen attacks an AVTF officer, and she is off-screen for a bit. But soon, she joins The Man Without Fear and takes him to a location where the AVTF officer Karen disarmed is held hostage, and the second Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 episode comes to a close.Daredevil: Born Again, Season 2, Episode 3, "The Scales & The Sword," opens with Matt and Karen interrogating the officer. However, we learn that he wants to help Daredevil bring down Fisk. Daredevil tells the officer that he will knock him unconscious and take his access card, which would change every 24 hours. After knocking out the officer, Matt decides to break into the Red Hook Port.Kirsten is finally given access to Jack Duquesne in his unknown prison. She is taken to Duquesne's cell by Cole North (who has rejoined the task force after sustaining burn injuries). But the AVTF has placed blackout glasses over Kirsten McDuffie's eyes so that she can't locate it. But she hears specific sounds that come back to play a role later.At Duquesne's holding cell, McDuffie informs him that his trial has been moved today, two weeks ahead of schedule, meaning she is unprepared. Jack Duquesne's trial is televised, and he is declared guilty. Kirsten is at a bar when a stranger (Karen, unknown to her) bumps into her and drops a tissue, instructing Matt's business partner to head to the office.Kirsten does so and comes across Daredevil waiting there for her. She tells Daredevil about all the noises she came across inside the unknown prison. Daredevil breaks into the prison, attacks AVTF officers, and rescues all the prisoners. The Man Without Fear is helped by fellow vigilante, Swordsman, in his fight against the AVTF officers. Also joining them in this rescue mission is Angela del Toro's White Tiger.As Matt and Karen drive away from the Red Hook Port, Matt hears all the workers from Fisk's night crew who helped in clearing out The Northern Star's mess drowning. This dark moment undercuts the moment of victory Matt just scored by breaking out all of Fisk's hostages, and the Born Again Season 2 episode comes to a close.Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Episodes 2 and 3 are currently streaming on Disney+.
