Death of the Pastor’s Wife didn't show that John has a history of crimes and allegations, including r*aping girls. Earlier, a lawsuit alleged that when John was a 19-year-old church leader, he r*ped a 15-year-old girl named Jane Doe. Sources revealed that he had touched her genitals without her consent in public.

Jane alleged that John forced her into his father's office at Reginald's church, where he became aggressive, overpowered her, and then took her to his truck and r*ped her.

The Myrtle Beach story

In 1993, John and his father moved their ministry and college to Myrtle Beach to separate themselves from earlier controversies and accusations of sexual misconduct involving Reginald and students at their former location in Florence.
