After she performs surgery without getting approval, the hospital puts her contract on hold and moves her to the ER. Meanwhile, a new surgeon joins the hospital and seems quite interested in her.
When I watched the episode, I saw it take a very different turn after Su-jeong meets Kwon, whose health keeps getting worse even though he puts off surgery. When she finally operates on him, she discovers some letters that leave us with another mystery to look forward to.

Doctor X: Mafia in White Episode 3 recap: Su-jeong's decision puts her job at risk

Episode 3 of Doctor X: Mafia in White opens with the doctors talking about a patient dying two months after being operated on by a mysterious Doctor X, as we also see Su-jeong in a house that is on fire. As I watched the episode, I saw them getting concerned about her methods of operating on the patient.
She also gets assigned to help in the ER after the doctor requests more helping hands, but Su-jeong's agent isn't very happy with her helping in the ER, as she wants to make big money. Later, Su-jeong talks to a cleaner who is also a contractor in the hospital and observes her habits.
The same contractor faces SAH caused by an aneurysm rupture, and the director is asked to operate on her. But by the time they can come to a decision, Su-jeong has already started operating on her and saves her. However, the doctors turn against her for operating on her and even threaten her career. Towards the end of the episode, we see the directors hiring a new general surgeon as Su-jeong's contract is placed on hold.
Doctor X: Mafia in White Episode 4 recap: A new surgeon shows interest in Su-jeong

In Episode 4 of Doctor X: Mafia in White, Su-jeong gets shifted to the ER for the time being after her contract gets put on hold. On the other hand, the new surgeon starts working with the other doctors. However, Su-jeong's agent still asks Director Bu to pay what they owe them, threatening that she might sue them. Until now, from watching the episode, it's very clear Su-jeong's agent has utmost faith in her.
As I watched the episode, I saw her treating trauma patients who were brought to the hospital after an incident at a construction site. However, she once again goes to another doctor's surgery room and helps them, and the new surgeon starts hitting on her. At this point, he seems to be very interested in her.
Doctor X: Mafia in White Episode 4 recap: Su-jeong operates on Kwon
In Episode 4, Su-jeong, with three other doctors, goes out to have a meal, where they find Kwon suddenly falling. Thankfully, they get him to the hospital on time. They even ask him to get surgery done, but he postpones it to next week. We also get to see his backstory as he gets bullied in his military service days, which only got worse as time passed. When he decided to fight back, they beat him once again. The new surgeon eventually saved Kwon at that time, and that's how they know each other from their military days.
Later, the new surgeon asks Su-jeong to have a meal with him, but she turns down his invitation. She tells him that Kwon won't last until next Monday. However, he doesn't take her very seriously.
By Friday, Kwon's condition gets worse, and he is rushed to the hospital. Su-jeong operates on him, but the new surgeon's expression changes when he learns about it, making it clear that he is not happy with her decision. During the surgery, she notices the two letters, raising a new mystery about what they mean.
