What makes this K-drama special isn’t just that Jisoo has taken on the lead role, but also that she is joined by some of the most-liked actors in the K-drama world.

The release date for Boyfriend on Demand is Friday, March 6, 2026. It will exclusively be available on Netflix with audio and subtitles in different languages. Ahead of the K-drama's release, fans are sharing their honest reactions after watching the first trailer.

As mentioned before, the recently released trailer of Boyfriend on Demand has gained notable attention from K-drama lovers. The story goes beyond a typical K-drama and also promises to give a unique viewing experience for viewers.

The trailer reveals Mi-rae facing difficulties after the virtual dating era begins. She experiences glamorous event nights and red-carpet moments, nostalgic school romance, and medical-themed encounters.

Outside this virtual world, Mi-rae regularly interacts with Park Kyeong-nam, a fellow webtoon producer and her professional rival. The two start spending time together when Mi-rae looks for an actual connection.

And without realizing it, the two end up getting really close. As for the tone of the K-drama, fans can expect fun, emotional and comforting.

While Jisoo of BLACKPINK will appear as Seo Mi-rae, Seo In-guk will play the role of the male lead, Park Kyeong-nam. As for the actors who are making special cameos as Mi-rae's virtual boyfriends include Seo Kang-joon, Lee Soo-hyuk, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Jae-wook, Lee Hyun-wook, Jay Park, Kim Young-dae and even Lee Sang-yi.

Additional cast members are Gong Min-jeung, Kim Ah-young, Park Hae-rin, Ha Young, Han Ga-eul, and Yoo In-na. They will appear as colleagues, friends and other supporting figures within Mi-rae’s world.
