The Korean drama Dream To You has come to an end, giving a happy ending to the viewers who were shipping Yi-jae and Soo-bin all along. While their paths were rocky at times, and Yi-jae even leaves for Canada to pursue her dreams of becoming a filmmaker, she finally returns to Korea after two years.
But that's not all. After her return, she becomes an award-winning director and meets Soo-bin for a film project. The drama starring Hwang In-youp as Woo Soo-bin and Lee Hye-ri as Yi-jae ends on a happy note with the couple getting back together after facing difficulties and achieving their dreams.

Dream to You Episode 12 recap: Yi-jae leaves for Canada
The Dream to You Episode 12 starts with a hug between Soo-bin and Yi-jae. However, Yi-jae makes it clear that she might have to give up her relationship in order to follow her dream.
Soo-bin tries to make her understand that she will only be away for two years, and there is no need for them to break up. However, Yi-jae stands by her decision, leaving Soo-bin with no other choice. In the end, he decides to let her go so she can pursue the career she dreams of.
Dream to You finale recap: Yi-jae and Soo-bin reunite after two years
After spending two years in Canada and developing her skills, Yi-jae returns to Korea. As soon as Soo-bin sees Yi-jae in front of him, he immediately hugs her. When he asks her the reason for her return, she tells him that the Geumseong Film Festival opens in two weeks and that she has been nominated in the New Best Director category.
Even though they met after two years, their interaction wasn't awkward at all. She tells him that her decision to stay will depend on him and asks him to make a movie with her. He soon leans in for a kiss after agreeing to her request to make a movie together.
In the Dream to You finale, Yi-jae wins the New Director Award for A Dreamlike Love, which is presented to her by Soo-bin on stage, making the moment even more special for them.
In her speech, Yi-jae says she wanted to become a better person so she could stand beside the one she loves. She adds that love can feel like a war, but she is no longer afraid of it because she has grown stronger. She further promises to do her best to stay with the person she loves.
Dream to You ending explained: Do Yi-jae and Soo-bin end up together?
The Dream to You Episode 12 ending shows Yi-jae filming her mother as she suggests she close the restaurant. However, her mother assures her that she enjoys running the restaurant, and the day she feels tired, she will quit it.
Later, Soo-bin asks her to stay for the night, and in the morning, he gives her the scrunchie he found at the airport. Yi-jae is shocked, realizing that Soo-bin came to the airport on the day she left for Canada. He surprises her by giving her the ring as a proposal. Although Yi-jae is surprised and asks what it means, she accepts it and lets him put the ring on her finger.
Dream to You ends on a heartwarming note, with the couple finally together again.
