Camille and Issei chase a new lead in Episode 3

Drops of God Season 2 focuses on Camille Léger (Fleur Geffrier) and Issei Tomine (Tomohisa Yamashita). The narrative for Season 2 brings both of the siblings together again for a mystery related to finding the origin of a wine bottle gifted to them by their late father, Alexandre Léger.

The supporting cast for Season 2 of the Apple TV show includes:

  • Tom Wozniczka as Thomas Chassangre
  • Cécile Bois as Marianne Léger
  • Satoshi Nikaido as Hirokazu Tomine.

In Episode 2, the hunt for the origin of the wine finally gave us a first look at a solid lead. Camille realized the seal on the bottle she threw away was made from beeswax, which became the very first major lead.

Philippe asks for the beeswax to be tested in a lab, and Camille admits to Issei that she had poured out the wine, which upset him. While the wax went to the lab, Camille and Thomas visited the Vassal grape bank. Issei also surprised them by showing up after discharging himself from the hospital.

Together, they find out about a rare and banned grape called Herbemont. The wax pointed toward Greece, sending Camille and Issei to Athens. There, Issei meets a beekeeper linked to beeswax used by a Georgian monastery that makes wine, giving them their next clue.

The synopsis for Episode 3, according to Apple TV, says:

“Tensions rise between Camille and Issei as their search leads them into the Georgian countryside and a decades-old family feud.”

It hints at more clashes between the siblings in Episode 3, difficult choices that have to be made, and a search that might not stay as simple as Camille and Issei fight each other and compete with each other to locate the origin of the wine.

Drops of God Season 2 Episode 3 will be released on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, exclusively on Apple TV.

The story is now moving from clever clues into a slight feud between the two main characters, and the Georgian countryside promises more twists and turns to come our way as Camille and Issei explore the place to find more clues.
