During the investigation, even though Homer keeps trying to make Clark speak, Clark does not say a single word. Dissatisfied with the situation, Jodie also tries to ask Clark about whether Floyd was aware of Clark’s affair with Carol.

This question finally makes Clark begin to answer. He tells them about the panic attack that he had during his work hour, and also his thought process. It was during this moment that he decided to cheat on his wife. He then continues to tell Homer and Jodie that he met Carol the very next day, which eventually led to their affair.

The reason he chose to create a male profile is that he thought Floyd would not ask to meet him. However, it took a turn when Floyd was actually eager to meet Tiger Tiger. Clark tried to prevent Floyd from meeting Tiger Tiger. Clark tells Floyd that he does not like men.

However, according to Floyd, if Tiger Tiger liked him in person, then it would be a confidence boost for him, which he needed at that time. Clark did not want to tell Floyd the truth, as it would have shattered his remaining confidence.

This episode of DTF St. Louis continues with Clark speaking to Homer about the Tiger Tiger situation with Floyd. Homer understood that Tiger Tiger was a ray of hope for Floyd, which Clark could not let go of. So, Clark decided to come up with the Denny’s plan, which involved the restaurant named Denny’s.
