The creator of Euphoria, Sam Levinson, has made a generous contribution to a GoFundMe campaign initiated for the late actor Eric Dane. Levinson was joined by his wife, Ashley Levinson, in this meaningful gesture.

It is reported that the couple has bestowed a sum of $27,000 on the Grey's Anatomy star's family. Eric Dane breathed his last after a courageous, long-term fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) on February 19, 2026.

In honor of Eric Dane, Sam and Ashley Levinson have pledged a sum of $27,000 to a GoFundMe campaign for the late actor. This charitable drive was set up by the beloved friends of the star after his death. The motive for this fundraising campaign is to ensure Dane's family's financial stability and security in the aftermath of his demise.

Last year in April, Eric Dane revealed that he was found to have ALS. It is a degenerative neurological illness, which is also called as Lou Gehrig's disease. At the age of 53, Dane breathed his last. Industry people and fans all over the world have expressed their grief after the death of the actor.

Eric Dane and Sam Levinson go a long way back, as the actor had starred in Levinson's iconic series Euphoria. In the series, he portrayed the role of Cal Jacobs. Dane's embodiment of the disconcerted man was widely lauded. The grief-stricken Levinson, after the demise of his friend, has expressed his profound sorrow. In an interview with Deadline, the creator stated:

“I’m heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend Eric. Working with him was an honor. Being his friend was a gift. Eric’s family is in our prayers. May his memory be for a blessing.”
