Euphoria Season 3 finale titled "In God We Trust" aired on May 31, and with that, the HBO Max series has reportedly come to an end. The news was confirmed by creator Sam Levinson on Popcast.

In Euphoria Season 3 Episode 8, Rue somehow manages to escape from Wayne after a fight. Later, Alamo gives Rue money and places pills in her way intentionally, which turn out to be deadly for her. Ali, devastated by Rue's death, kills Alamo to avenge her.

Overall, episode 8 was extremely dark, emotional, and left many fans heartbroken with the death of Rue, a character played by Zendaya. However, there were many main characters who made it out alive in the HBO Max series.

Here is how their stories concluded in the series finale.

For the fans wondering what happens to Maddy in Euphoria Season 3, she successfully survives the finale. In the last two episodes, we see Maddy Perez helping Cassie with arranging the money to save Nate and making a deal with Alamo.

She decides to move on after what happens at the Silver Slipper, and together with Cassie, they turn Nate's house into a space for OnlyFans content creators to solve their financial problems. In the end, Alamo gets killed by Ali, which sets Maddy free as she looks forward to rebuilding a new life.

Along with Maddy, Cassie also survives the finale. While seeing Nate's body breaks her at first, Cassie, with the help of Maddy, transforms Nate's house into a content creation space for OnlyFans.

As the episode continues, she finally finds some stability and works as a content creator. While she is focused on work, trying to be independent, at one point, she just keeps staring at her photo with Nate as a tear drops from her eye. Her story ends with her trying to build a future for herself rather than relying on a relationship.

Euphoria Season 3 Finale: What happens to the remaining characters?

In the Euphoria finale, Lexi is seen talking to Cassie about Rue's death. When asked by Cassie if she wants to work together, she declines the offer politely by saying that she needs to figure a few things out first. However, the finale doesn't provide much closure for the character.

As for Jules, we see her ending her relationship with Rue, deciding to stop pursuing the arts, and becoming the sugar baby of Ellis. In the final episode, she draws Rue against a background showing fire as she continues living with Ellis. Jules doesn't get much screentime in the finale, with her ending open to interpretation.

As for Ali, after avenging Rue's death by killing Alamo, he visits the family that once helped Ruby. Together, they pray for Rue. Having been one of the people closest to Rue, Ali is left grieving her loss in the finale.

Viewers also see Daisy silently crying after learning about Rue's death from Ali. Even during the pre-meal prayer, tears are seen rolling down her face. On the other hand, Wayne and Faye run away together without getting caught after the DEA raids Laurie's place.

Euphoria Season 3 is streaming on HBO Max.
