The spooky season is finally here! American Horror Story: 13 will release on September 24, 2026, ahead of its speculated Halloween 2026 premiere. It is set to premiere with three episodes at 9 PM ET on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ globally. The upcoming season of Ryan Murphy's anthology series will bring together the elements of previous seasons, including Coven, Cult, Hotel, and Murder House. With that, returning actors will be juggling multiple past roles as this season will converge previous storylines.
American Horror Story: 13 will feature returning cast members such as Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, and John Carroll Lynch. The returning cast will reprise their past characters.
Apart from them, Evan Peters will reprise his role as Tate Langdon, the high school mass shooter who died in the 90s and is now a ghost. The fan favorite antagonist from Murder House and Apocalypse, Peters will also reprise his role as James Patrick March, the piano-playing killer from Hotel, and as Kai Anderson from Cult.
Before the premiere, American Horror Story: 13 has dropped some exclusive images (via ScreenRant). The images confirm that Peters is stepping back into his antagonist characters. The images show Billie Lourd as Winter Anderson (Cult) and Tate Langdon wearing the Rubber Man suit and Mr. March on the piano. The images also feature in the background Jamie Brewer's Addie Langdon, and Emma Roberts' Madison Montgomery.
Alex Consani will play a new character, Morwenna, while Avantika will play Ophelia. Morwenna and Ophelia are the two new witches. Other new characters will be played by John Waters (Mr. Phibes), Joey Pollari (Ben DeSoto), and Madelaine Petsch (Kira).
