Fall In! Love will star Park Hyung-sik and Park Gyu-young in lead roles

Netflix recently announced that a rom-com K-drama titled Fall In! Love, starring Park Hyung-sik and Park Gyu-young, is in the works. Park Hyung-sik will play the character of Na Jung-seok, CEO of an outdoor camping brand, and Gyu-young will play Woo A-mi, a rookie employee in his company.

The "role-reversal" K-drama will follow the journey of Jung-seok becoming a "confident" CEO of his company from a "timid soldier," and how A-mi, a "legendary" Special Force Officer, tries to adjust to her new life as a civilian in the corporate world. The K-drama will highlight how the reversed roles of these two reunited characters will affect their present, as Jung-seok begins to lose his composure seeing his senior from the military join his company. It will further explore how these changes will shape their love story.

The K-drama will be directed by Nam Seong-woo, known for fan-favorite K-dramas such as My Roommate Is A Gumiho, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo, My Lovely Liar, and 100 Days My Prince, among others. Kim Ha-na, known for K-dramas My Secret Romance and Heartbeat, has written the script of Fall In! Love.

Apart from Hyung-sik and Gyu-young, no other cast members have been announced yet. However, Soompi has revealed that Hospital Playlist 2's star Lee Jong-won is in talks to join the upcoming Netflix K-drama.

Park Gyu-young was recently seen in Netflix's hit K-drama Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3, where she played the character of Kang No-eul, Guard 011, who helped the participants in trying to escape the deadly game. She has also appeared in K-dramas such as Nine Puzzles, Sweet Home, A Good Day to Be a Dog, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, and The Devil Judge, among others.
