We begin with a flashback when workers strike outside the RobCo industries as they trash robots with their baseball bats. Turns out they are afraid that the rapid usage of robots might make them jobless. Cut to a local bar where we see Robert House on the television, giving a speech. A man bearing a striking resemblance to Robert House sits inside the bar and shares his opinion that it's money and power that matter, and not votes.A big bald guy approaches him, and they sort of follow him outside. The man in a suit opens up his car trunk full of cash. He says that if the bald man were to insert a device in his neck, all the cash would be his. The bald man does not agree, but he grabs his neck and inserts it. What follows is utter chaos and bloodshed as we see the bald man following the suited man's orders. He kills his friends, and when the man in command increases the meter, the bald man's head bursts open, oozing out blood.Back to the present, we see The Ghoul being nearly executed, Lucy being Lucy, delivers a long monologue to stop it, but it doesn't help. Lucy fires at the rope, and the Ghoul releases himself and brutally kills his executors.Nonetheless, they start their journey towards New Vegas. The Ghoul narrates how New Vegas survived not due to luck but because of the protection system. On their way, they find a worn-out shop selling flea soup. When Lucy inquires about Hank, she is informed that he had taken away the son of a woman from a nearby stand. Lucy and the Ghoul continue with their journey when they encounter another vault.Amidst the present-day chaos, we also get a flashback sequence into The Ghoul, aka Cooper Howard's past. We see that when he learns about Vault-Tec's plan and their deliberate nuclear escalation, and his wife's association with it, it leaves him shocked. He plans to leave with his daughter, but as soon as he starts driving, he hears sirens, meaning the bomb falls anyway.Back to the present day, Lucy and the Ghoul enter a destroyed and abandoned Vault 24 filled with corpses. They locate the device planted at the back of the corpses. Yes, the ones that we saw at the beginning of the premiere episode. In the end, we see Hank enter the abandoned Vault-Tec premises. With a smirk, he sits down and reports for duty. It seems like Hank's motives have just begun to surface, and he's not slowing down.Fallout Season 2 Episode 2: What to expect?
