Fallout Season 2 has been consistent and has pulled in a huge global fan base. The show has kept people watching week after week on Prime Video. With millions of fans tuning in and even older episodes getting a major boost as we speak, Fallout Season 2 has officially turned into one of Prime Video’s most beloved and important shows right now.

Fallout Season 2 viewership proves that the show is not just hyped up for no reason

Fallout Season 2 has been pretty consistent with its fan base, and this is a major win for the Prime Video show. Within the first 13 weeks of Season 2 being released, there were around 83 million people worldwide who watched the season, and that is not a casual amount of traffic.

It now sits just behind Reacher Season 2 in terms of returning shows on Prime Video, a very big deal indeed.

What makes this even more interesting is how Fallout Season 2 also changed its release style. Instead of dropping episodes all at once, it dropped them weekly.

In the United States alone, the show stayed inside Nielsen’s Top 10 originals for nine straight weeks, which is rare, especially with new TV shows that are constantly up and coming.

There is also talk of a ripple effect. While Season 2 of Fallout was streaming, many fans went back and re-watched Season 1 all over again, which pushed the total global reach of the entire show to 100 million viewers.

Reacher’s dominance set the bar high and Fallout Season 2 is catching up fast

Reacher has been the gold standard for Prime Video original TV shows for a while now. The second season alone pulled in over a billion minutes of viewing in a single week, and the season also topped streaming charts back to back.

This kind of performance is really hard to match, but if we’re being honest, Season 2 of Fallout is the one show that got pretty close.

Reacher was already a pretty strong show to compete with, but Fallout steadily built up its fan base in the US and then expanded globally.

Now, both of these TV shows are sitting at the top of Prime Video’s biggest successes.

Prime Video also saw this success coming from a mile away, and the platform has renewed Fallout for a third season, with production also set to begin soon.

At the same time, Reacher is also moving forward, with Season 4 already in production, and we cannot wait to see what's next in store for Jack Reacher!

Season 2 of Fallout is no longer just a niche video game TV show adaptation that is trying to work its way to the top. It is now one of Prime Video’s biggest successes, standing right next to Reacher in terms of impact.

The viewership numbers, the weekly consistency, and the global reach all speak for themselves, and the show is only getting bigger and bigger.

With Fallout Season 3 already confirmed and production lined up, Prime Video now has two massive shows driving its audience.
