This week is special for Marvel fans because the New York Comic Con is scheduled for this weekend. This Thursday evening, the studio's TV side is having a panel at NYCC. This panel is expected to give us more information about the MCU's TV side, as several live-action streaming shows have been cancelled.

Upcoming shows like Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2, and X-Men '97 Season 3 are expected to be present in that panel. Except for X-Men '97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the studio has pulled the plug on several MCU streaming series.

We can expect the following in the NYCC panel for the Disney subsidiary:

Let's get the most anticipated Disney+ MCU show out of the way: Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. The final season of Born Again is expected to be different from the previous two seasons, as Wilson Fisk might not be the central antagonist of the upcoming season, even though Kingpin is confirmed to appear.

But the most important thing about this panel is that the cast and crew of the series will surely discuss their experience of making the final season of the Disney+ MCU series. As some fans continue to wonder if Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is indeed the final season, this panel is sure to give us further insight into what we can expect from the final season.

X-Men '97 Season 3

Unlike the live-action Disney+ MCU shows, X-Men '97 is safe for now, as season 3 is releasing next year. Season 4 has already been confirmed, and therefore, we can expect the animated series to go on for a while.

It seems that the animated series is completely disassociated with the rest of the MCU. Moreover, it has a great recall value; therefore, it will not be on the chopping block. We may get a teaser or release window for season 3 at the panel because we know that it is releasing in 2027.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2

2025's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 was one of the surprise hits. The animated series was renewed for two more seasons early last year. Therefore, much like X-Men '97, the animated Disney+ Spider-Man series is also expected to be safe for now.

Footage from season 2 was released at D23 last month, which showrunner Jeff Trammell posted on his social media account. In that footage, we can see Peter Parker getting the symbiote suit. Therefore, we can expect the upcoming season to adapt the iconic black-suited Spider-Man storyline from the comics.

Thus, we can expect a darker Peter Parker in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 than the one we met in Season 1.

Bonus speculation - The panel might also have something from VisionQuest:

VisionQuest is the immediate MCU project that is streaming on Disney+ in two weeks. Marketed as a sci-fi series, the show is a conclusion to the "trilogy" kicked off by 2021's WandaVision. Based on this information, we can expect that the solo Vision series is set after 2024's Agatha All Along.

We could expect the NYCC panel to market VisionQuest through booths. The official website even alludes to this:

"Marvel is also returning to the NYCC show floor with two can’t-miss booths. At Booth #2153, fans entering the main queue will journey through the world of Marvel Television’s VisionQuest, enjoy a fun look at the Williams x Marvel collaboration, receive an exclusive Marvel Comics giveaway, and wrap up the experience with a Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday photo opportunity."

What are you expecting from the NYCC panel this week?
