Furious Episode 4 exposes Isabel and Catherine’s past as Alice faces setback

Furious Episode 4, titled Flash Flood, was released on August 3. The episode follows FBI Agent Alice Black and Det. Danny Kelly as they continue searching for the serial killer. New clues about Isabel Luna lead them to a major breakthrough as they come to know that Catherine Grace and Isabel actually grew up in the same orphanage. This also makes Catherine the main suspect in the case.

However, their search doesn't go as smoothly as they were hoping for, as Catherine takes hostage another person who is linked to Isabel. The episode also shows Nora discovering that she took Isabel's case years back. However, she doesn't tell this to anyone, and on top of that, she takes Alice off the case.

Furious Episode 4 recap: Nora hides the biggest clue yet

Furious Episode 4 begins with Alice trying to call Danny. On the other hand, Danny is spending time with his son Liam as he sees the call but decides not to pick it up. Viewers also see Alice dealing with her past as she invites another man who came hoping for a normal date, only for Alice to start fighting with him.

She later meets Nora, and the two decide to find more information on Isabel Luna. However, their efforts seem to fail, as they don't find any proper leads that can give more details. Nora, on the other side, starts finding more details on the old case records of missing and dead girls after Alice suggests it.

The episode takes a big turn when Nora realizes she worked on a 15-year-old case connected to Isabel Luna. However, she doesn't tell anyone about the same, not even Alice.

On the other hand, Catherine sets up a new target using a fake identity, and it is soon revealed that the guy's father is her real target, who recognizes her the moment he sees her.

Furious Episode 4 recap: Alice and Danny's investigation leads them to Isabel's orphanage

In Episode 4, Alice and Danny talk to Emma Easton, who is Jay's daughter, in the hopes that she could give some important detail about her family's connection. Alice starts by apologizing and says that she is concerned that her family might be the new target. However, when asked about the concern by Easton, Alice says that she can't reveal much detail.

Just as everything seems to be going fine, Danny suddenly mentions the photo of Emma's father with another girl. Alice tries to calm the situation, saying they don't think they can show the photo. But Danny points out that it's because she's a minor. After seeing the photo, Emma says that she doesn't know the person and insists that the photo is fake. However, the whole explanation makes Alice and Danny only more suspicious of her.

Danny and Alice later visit the orphanage where Isabel grew up. They learn more details about her, including that she tried to run away multiple times. When they ask about her close friends, they find out it was Catherine Grace.

Furious Episode 4 recap: Nora removes Alice from the case while Hal's fate is revealed

Towards the end of Episode 4, Nora meets Ed George, her former boss starts reconsidering Alice's involvement in the case after hearing Marshall's concerns. On the other hand, Alice starts finding more details on Catherine and calls Nora to tell her about Catherine, the best friend of Isabel Luna. She also reveals Isabel's boyfriend's name, Adrian.

Nora tells Alice that she is taking her off the case and asks her to step back because of her mental health. Alice then learns that it was Nora's case, but Nora doesn't explain further. In the final scene, Hal is shown to still be alive after being targeted by Catherine.
