Furious season 2 might flip the story completely after that shocking finale

Furious Season 1 had the shocking ending no one was expecting. All this time, Catherine was trying to find out what happened to Isabel, only to discover that she was the one who killed Isabel after she asked her to do it. While Catherine was a murderer from the very beginning, the ending also turns Alice into a murderer, revealing that she killed Jay.

The story could have ended there, but instead, it takes a U-turn. Alice finally sees the list of people who downloaded the video Danny found on Hal's laptop, and from the look on her face, it looks like she has decided to go after them, setting up what could be the plot for Season 2.

So, instead of Catherine being the only murderer, there is now a possibility that Alice could become the new killer in town, going after the people on the list. Additionally, there are also many unanswered questions that Season 2 could explore, leaving plenty of room for the story to continue.

Furious Season 2 could take Alice down a dark new path

Furious finale shows Catherine showing up at Jay Easton's house, where she confronts Emma and tries to remember everything that happened to Isabel. As the conversation continues, it is revealed that Catherine was the one who killed Isabel after Isabel asked her to do so because of the pain she was in. Alice consoles her and arrests her for the crime she committed.

On the other hand, Jay dies after respiratory failure, and Ed moves on with his life, thinking that there's no evidence left that could bring him down. But that's not how it is. In the end, Danny gives Alice the flash drive containing the video of her and asks her to do what she thinks is correct.

She decides to give the flash drive to Nora and tells her about the video. Nora suggests she face it instead of running from it and gives her the code of the room in case she wants to review the materials. Once she goes inside, she looks through the files and the people who downloaded it.

The finale also shows Alice visiting Catherine and telling her that Isabel's body has been found and will finally be moved to a proper grave. While we feel their story ends here, it turns out it doesn't.

Catherine tells Alice that she is hiding a secret, and while Alice tries to deflect the question, Catherine comes to realize that it was Alice who killed Jay, which is shown at the end of the episode when Alice goes to Jay's room and, once he starts talking to her, she cuts off his air, causing him to die- the secret that only Catherine knows.

The biggest question for the Furious Season 2 plot is now whether Alice will become more like Catherine, as she has already killed Jay and even smiled when asked if she liked the way it felt, showing that she liked holding the power Catherine once described when she was killing others. At the same time, her looking at the list of people who downloaded her video hints that she might go after these people in Furious Season 2 to take revenge.

It would be interesting to see what the last scene means for Season 2, and if she actually becomes a serial killer, then how would she hide everything from Danny, and how will it affect their bond? Not to forget, Marshall is still alive, and he won't be leaving Alice so easily if he returns in Season 2.

But another big question for Furious Season 2 is whether Catherine will return. As of now, Catherine is alive after taking the bullet, and Alice even visits her, leaving Catherine as the only person to know Alice's secret. Viewers still don't know if Catherine is linked to Alice somehow. On the other hand, there are times when Alice seems to understand Catherine better than anyone else, something even Nora points out. This time, Catherine might be the one who understands Alice and helps her.

Season 2 might also show Nora getting even with Ed. After all, she has the evidence now. In the Furious finale, she meets Ed in the lift and tells him about the flash drive, leaving him stunned as he realizes that his problems are far from over. The series has already been renewed for Season 2, as confirmed by Variety. However, there is no confirmed release date or cast announcement yet.
