Georgie & Mandy Season 3: Steve Holland teased that the couple's marriage might be strained

Entertainment Weekly mentioned that Steve Holland explained how the couple has become stronger in many ways since they first met. However, the upcoming season will focus more on what happened when their dreams began. Holland said,

"They’re both really similar, but those ambitions aren’t always gonna be in alignment."

He added,

"Those ambitions can butt heads against each other sometimes, because in some relationships, you have to make decisions and both people can’t always get what they want. And so how do you make those decisions?"

Holland meant that both of their ambitions were very similar, but they were not always aligned. He explained that those ambitions sometimes clashed because in certain relationships, decisions had to be made and both people could not always get what they wanted. He added that the real challenge was deciding how those decisions were made when the ambitions conflicted.

The showrunner further mentioned that the series had always shown that the couple stumbled into marriage and it eventually created many problems. Holland explained that the problems came from their age differences. He meant to say that having a baby before they were truly in a relationship was a serious problem.
