Episode 5 of Girl From Nowhere: The Reset is mainly about a group named Atsajeree, in which the members are actively trying to expose corrupt activities inside their school. While everyone else seems to ignore the obvious danger, these students question why a century-old building clearly falling apart with visible cracks is still being presented as safe.

The group believes that the truth is being hidden and that they doubt the school's internal system. Notably, the school's director doesn't seem to understand the situation. She trusts the staff and this is one of the reasons why the director is disconnected from reality.

When Nanno arrives, she makes things a little complicated. One of the Atsajeree members ends up getting injured, and that raises a doubt about whether Nanno is helping or harming them.

At the same time, Nobel and another student, Tae, are hunted down by a group of aggressive students known as the "scouts" whose job is to track down troublemakers like Atsajeree. Surprisingly, Nanno is placed in charge of this search group.

This way, her position in episode 5 of Girl From Nowhere: The Reset becomes even more confusing. She doesn't fully trust the ones opposing and the ones in authority. She believes in finding the truth herself.

While she interferes with the Atsajeree group’s efforts, she also targets Deputy Kai, the real source of the problem. It turns out he’s secretly benefiting from the situation because his wife owns the construction company assigned to repair the building. The entire project is essentially a setup to make money, with no real concern for student safety.

Girl From Nowhere: The Reset episode 5 ending explained: The collapse and what it reveals

Nanno kicks off with her plan in Girl From Nowhere: The Reset episode 5 by distracting the student using the school's popular couple: BB and Taetae. While this is happening, the school's administration continues to pretend everything is normal.

Later, Nobel and Tae are caught and expelled from the school as the authorities in power want to do everything they can to silence the ones trying to expose corruption. Even though the Director isn’t directly involved in the corruption, her refusal to listen to students makes her partly responsible.

She kept believing Deputy Kai until the inevitable happened: the school building collapsed. The director and the other staff were still inside as they focused only on making money and ignoring the consequences.

At the end of episode 5 of Girl From Nowhere: The Reset, the staff remained inside while the students were saved. Nanno only chose to save one innocent life, the director's dog from the building and left the guilty ones inside. Her contribution also earned recognition for the Atsajeree group.
