Half Man release schedule: When does the HBO Max show drop new episodes?

HBO Max drama Half Man, starring Jamie Bell, is gearing up for a premiere in April, and social media is already abuzz as Emmy-winning writer Richard Gadd takes the lead. The story revolves around the estranged relationship of two brothers whose dynamics see a major shift as they reconnect after years.

Gadd, who gained quite some recognition with his hit Netflix thriller Baby Reindeer in 2024, is at the helm of the project alongside directors Alexandra Brodski and Eshref Reybrouck. Lead star Richard Gadd is also an executive producer on the show alongside Tally Garner, Gavin Smith, Morven Reid, and Gaynor Holmes.

Half Man will release its first episode on April 23 on HBO Max, followed by a BBC premiere the following day. The official synopsis of the series, per IMDb, reads:

"Ruben turns up at his estranged brother (Niall)'s wedding, acting as a catalyst for a revival of the last 40 years of their relationship."

The upcoming BBC series Half Man will have six episodes, and in spite of being a limited series, the drama will follow a weekly release schedule for creative reasons, as sources tell. Half Man will have an exclusive premiere on HBO Max on April 23 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT and the first episode will drop on BBC iPlayer on April 24 at 6 a.m. ET.

Viewers in the United Kingdom and Ireland will be able to stream new episodes of Half Man on HBO Max a day after the above-mentioned ones at 1 a.m. On the other hand, the audience of Central Europe (Germany, Italy and France) will have access to the episodes at 2 a.m. the next day.

For viewers of other regions, Half Man's new episodes will drop as per the following schedule:

• Eastern Standard Time - 8 p.m.
• US Central Time - 8 p.m.
• New Zealand Standard Time - 1 p.m. the following day
• Alaska Time - 5 p.m.
• Japan Standard Time - 10 a.m. the following day
