Fans are eagerly waiting for Heated Rivalry Season 2, especially after Season 1 ended on a positive note with Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov finally getting together and Shane coming out to his parents. While Season 1 of the show was based on Game Changers by Rachel Reid, Heated Rivalry Season 2 will adapt the book's direct sequel, The Long Game. As we get closer to the release of Heated Rivalry Season 2, the list of returning, new, and non-returning cast members has been revealed. The returning stars include François Arnaud as Scott Hunter, Robbie G.K. as Christopher Grady, aka Kip, Sophie Nélisse as Rose Landry, and Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova as Svetlana Vetrova. Also returning are Christina Chang and Dylan Walsh, who play Shane’s parents, Yuna and David Hollander, respectively. Callan Potter is returning as Hayden, Kamilla Kowal is returning as Hayden’s wife, Jackie, and Benjamin Roy is returning as JJ. The one cast member from Season 1 who was expected to return for Season 2, but isn't is Franco Lo Presti. Lo Presti played Cliff Marleau, Ilya's best friend and teammate in Season 1. But so far, he has not been confirmed to be returning for Season 2. At the end of Season 1, Cliff was still part of the story, and was a forward and team member of the Boston Raiders. It is yet to be known if/why his character will be written out of Season 2.
