Heart Ryan and Zeke Polina's Hell University was earlier expected to be just a 9-episode series, but it has been extended to 18 episodes now. This means that fans are getting nine more episodes focusing on Zein and her friends' journey in the university they never planned to join.
The stakes are high as Zein broke all the rules to save her friend, even if it means threatening to kill Supremo. However, it's clear that Ace likes Zein and he won't let her die. Instead of giving her death as punishment, he will settle the score with something else.

As explained before, the Hell University series will now have 18 episodes in total with episode 10 scheduled to be released on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 12:00 am PHT on Viva One. The Filipino series has been following a weekly pattern of one episode every week.

Hell University episode 9 recap and what to expect from the next episode
Episode 9 of Hell University begins with chaos as the "Bloody Week" continues. Students have opened their cards and know who they have to kill. Since Zein's card was empty, she wasn't assigned any students.
However, this doesn't mean that she is out of danger. Zein notices that Matt and the other two boys have been sneaking out during the night, which means risking their lives.
Zein also takes out her dagger and steps out to find them and maybe get to know about the laboratory. The next day, a student attacks Mia resulting in a serious injury. Zein rushes to the clinic but it is closed on Miss Violet's orders.
She then goes to Supremo and requests him. Ace explains that he cannot help until Zein threatens him. Ace is forced to help them and Mia gets treatment. Later, Ace tells Zein that her punishment is death and she must do everything before Saturday.
Zein requests that Supremo not tell this to anyone, as she prefers dying in silence. However, we know that Ace won't be able to kill Zein as he likes her. As the episode continues, Zein also goes out during the Bloody Night.
As for the next episode of Hell University, Zein and Ace's bond will get a little better but Matt won't feel good. At the same time, Zein will have to face more dangers.
