Fans of The Early Spring always have a reason to question Luan Nian and Shang Zhi Tao. After all, their actions can be pretty confusing, especially when it’s clear that they’re in love.

In the latest chapter of the C-drama, Tao opened up about her bucket list, which included building a future with Luan Nian and even starting a family together. Luan Nian, however, simply admitted that he hadn’t really thought about any of it. Talk about ruining the conversation and killing the mood.

And then, he will ultimately regret using such words and will make up with his girl. Their story will move forward in Episode 19 of The Early Spring, scheduled to be released on September 7, 2026.

Fans will find the C-drama on Youku, which is the main platform to watch it. At the same time, Netflix is also hosting the show, making it available for most of the international viewers.

So far, Shang Zhi Tao and Luan Nian’s relationship seemed to be going really well. But everything started getting a little messy after Tao’s ex-boyfriend showed up. Nian’s jealousy got the better of him, and he ended up ruining what should have been one of the most important moments between them.
