High Potential Season 2 continues to roll out compelling and engaging storylines back-to-back. In the previous episode, we saw Morgan (played by Kaitlin Olson) face one of the biggest challenges when she got fired for not following protocols. But thanks to Selena (played by Judy Reyes), Morgan manages to find her way back.In Episode 11, titled 'NPC,' the audience finds the Major Crime Division investigation team taking on a case involving the murder of a former gamer. Meanwhile, Detective Karadec (played by Daniel Sunjata) encounters someone from his past.Here is a quick High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 recap.Murder of a former gamer leaves the whole team perplexed in High Potential Season 2 Episode 11High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 starts off with a man running away from a scary being. He will come between the traffic and gets killed. The person was a former gamer, Declan Harper. Karadec and Morgan are on the job. After noticing the black vomit, Morgan will deduce that it is possible that he was poisoned and was hallucinating as he ran into the traffic.Meanwhile, Karadec will meet his ex-fiancée, Lucia, in a chance encounter. There are some unsaid words between them as they have a quick catch-up over a coffee. Morgan is exceedingly curious about Karadec’s story.Declan’s home looks like a wreck when the team turns up to investigate. Things take an interesting turn in High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 when Declan’s girlfriend, Aditi, turns up and informs them about a call she got that morning. Declan had told her that he had killed someone repeatedly, and they were coming for him.It doesn’t take long for Karadec to realize that Declan was talking about a character in a game called Battle Dynasty. He will tell Selena that someone from the game was probably after him and they had also found traces of blood on food delivery that was not his. Declan was addicted to gaming and had quit for about a year, until he went back a month ago.Declan gets back to gaming after a year in High Potential Season 2 Episode 11Declan’s laptop was missing and they tracked it to a parking lot. They find a game developer who had Declan’s laptop in his trunk. When he learns that Declan died, he is shocked. He reveals that the two had a disagreement the day before and he took the laptop to help Declan deal with his addiction. When the team check the laptop, they discover that Declan had $100,000 in cryptocurrency.During the investigation, Karadec will get a message from Lucia. He is unsure as to whether he should respond, but Morgan insists that he must give it a chance. Later, even Selena will tell him to get in touch with Lucia, after all, his responsibilities are more relaxed with Morgan around.In High Potential Season 2 Episode 11, the team realize that the only way to find the culprit is to check Declan’s play logs and find the people he interacted with. They notice that he was killing the same person called ‘Drednog’ repeatedly in the Battle Dynasty game. This had annoyed that person and they threatened to kill him in real life.The team gets a suspect in High Potential Season 2 Episode 11In High Potential Season 2 Episode 11, Morgan will find Elliot playing Battle Dynasty before going to bed. She will warn him against it, knowing what happened to Declan. But at the same time Morgan will try to understand how the chat works in it and realizes that when ‘Drednog’ mentioned ‘gun’, it could have meant ‘puffer fish’, which is known for its toxic nature. And it helps that the lab test came back positive.Puffer fish toxin is highly deadly for humans and can cause paranoia and death. Only a certified sushi chef is capable of removing the poison. There are only three in the area and after much research they zero in on a restaurant.In High Potential Season 2 Episode 11, the chef will share that puffer fish parts are kept locked before being destroyed, and no one has access to them. He even keeps an antidote as a safety measure. The chef has two twin sons. The chef will share that one of his sons, Ryo is a gamer. Though the chef insists that Ryo is not responsible for Declan's death, Karadec is highly suspicious of him. Ryo will confirm he is ‘Drednog’ and knew Declan’s character in the game. Ryo, however, insists that he did not know Declan in real life.The team finds a shocking connection between Declan and the chef. Declan’s cryptocurrency was traced to the chef, who had apparently hired Declan to kill Ryo’s character in the game, as he was fed up with his addiction.A shocking twist to the murder case in High Potential Season 2 Episode 11Ryo was angry at Declan and had, in fact, followed the delivery guy to his house. He left the poison in the food. When the DNA tests come back it is revealed that the killer was in fact Ryo’s twin brother, Jin. Jin had poisoned Declan, thinking that he was helping Ryo. Jin was now missing. With Ryo’s help, the team will head to the nearby Reservoir, where it appears as if he had jumped.But here comes the real twist in High Potential Season 2 Episode 11, Morgan will realize that there was never a second twin and that it was all an act put together by the father and son.When the chef had learnt that Ryo had poisoned Declan, he tried to save him, but he was too late as he ran into the heavy traffic and got killed. Ryo later learnt that Declan did what he did in the game because of his father. The two came up with the plan to bring up the story about the twin brother, who was born as Ryo after being absorbed into one fetus. At the end, Ryo is arrested and his father apologizes for his actions.As High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 comes to a close, Lucia comes to the station to see Karadec.
