What happened in Episode 17 of Season 2 of High Potential?
Episode 17 of High Potential Season 2 is about a robbery at a private vault facility that has much security (that fails). A group of masked thieves knock out a guard and they manage to steal a hard drive.
The team learns that the drive belongs to the city and contains sensitive systems that could shut down power, water, and a lot more. The robbers then copy all of the data instead of taking away everything.

The case gets pretty serious when a city clerk is found dead. Morgan gets on the case and figures out that the crew had inside help from a fired IT worker. He admits that he had helped them but planted a tracker on them. The team then tracks the robbers in Episode 17 of High Potential Season 2 into a warehouse, but they escape once they're done setting up the explosives.
Morgan then realizes that the robbers are planning a cash heist. They crash systems all across the city so people have no option but to make payments in cash during Mother’s Day. The money then gets sent through the underground tubes, which the robbers would then intercept.
The team manages to get into the tunnels, stop most of the thieves, and arrest the crew after a shootout.
Episode 17 of High Potential Season 2 may have been about a gang of robbers getting caught, but the episode also dedicates a simple tribute to Matthew Gonzalez, who was trying to leave his mark on the industry.
